Central Tailoring

I came here after reading the positive Unilocal reviews, but unfortunately I had a really bad experience using the dry cleaning services.
I dropped my clothes off and returned a week and a day later and was told my clothes weren’t ready yet. I live downtown, so that made for a 25-​minute round trip drive for nothing. This is after being told that I could pick my clothes up as early as three days before I came in.
When I received my clothes, all looked good. However, when I got home and opened the bag my dry cleaning had a strange chemical/​body odor smell. Additionally, a men’s sweater that I dropped off somehow shrunk to the point that it is no longer wearable.
I also had a hole in another sweater repaired and that was nicely done, so maybe the alteration services are better.

I was in need of some alterations and a co-​worked recommend I go see Chin. I may have dropped the ball and waited until the last minute to get my slacks shortened. I asked Chin if she would be able to meet my deadline and she assured me it wouldn’t be a problem.
Since then, I’ve been back half a dozen times and sent other people over to see her. Chin is super friendly, does great work and has reasonable pricing. If you’re looking for a tailor, you’ve found her.

Chin is knowledgeable, honest, professional, reasonable, and efficient. She is awful stylish too. We had my wedding dress tailored here and Chin even told me that the bra I chose and the original dress I chose was not right for my body style. She was right so I came back with new choices and after a little magic the dress fit like a glove. She is really a superb tailor. Thank you Chin. We will be back!

I have brought a few pairs of pants here for alterations. I have also had my suit and shirts pressed here. Cannot be any more satisfied with Chin’s work. She is a very friendly and professional woman and I don’t think twice about bringing her my business.

I was in a hurry to have a new outfit tailored, and Central Tailoring had it ready by noon the following day (less that 12 hours). Why take it anywhere else, when she is the one who takes care of tailoring for other locations (competitors) and does a great job!

Chin has done a lot of work for me. I recently lost a lot of weight and therefore, had clothes that were way too big. She has altered a few pairs of pants, taking them in at the butt and waist. She also worked miracles on a bridesmaid dress. I ordered the dress several months before the wedding, and it was way too big. It was also very long. The dress was strapless and A-​line with a sheer overlay. Chin accomodated my weight loss by doing two fittings and completing the dress days before the wedding to guarantee the dress fit perfectly and it did! She is pleasant, skilled and reasonably priced. I highly recommend her for any job. I just brought her a pair of pants to hem today!

Chin does an excellent job and I now bring all of my work to her!
