Danny Winkler recently sold the house uphill and above our house. In the past we have had problems with mud coming down the hill and blocking our drains. We had disclosed this to the seller of the house, who was a trust. Since there had been little rain in the last 3 years, it was not terribly problematic. When I saw that Danny was the buyers agent on the house I told my husband not to worry, that Danny would take care of it. Naturally just after the Close the big rain of November came and so did the mud. I called Danny and right away he said no worries, he would take care of it. Solution #1 was good for a while, but then more rain and more mud. So I called Danny again and he arranged for a better, more permanent solution and so far, so good. I am also a Realtor so I was very appreciative to work with such a professional on the other end of this problem. Thanks Danny!

Based on a friendly suggestion, I contacted Daniel Winkler & Associates, Inc. regarding the sale of my father’s home located in Albany. Until that time, I had left messages with another prominent agency in the Albany-​Berkeley area. Those folks ignored my call.
When I called Winkler and Assc. the phone was answered immediately by a very friendly person named Siqi. She patiently listened to my sob story of trying to execute my father’s estate and all of the troubles that come with it (difficult beneficiaries). Siqi immediately set up a time for that evening to meet at the estate and look things over. When we met Siqi brought with her Laura Martel. Laura immediately set our minds at ease as to how she would handle and or arrange all aspects of the sale… I mean ALL!
Laura pointed out that the house we were selling was considered highly desirable. She made everything sound so easy. I told her that it was just I and my wife dealing with the belongings and that it might take us a while get everything cleared out before we could sell. Laura again came to the rescue. She stated that she had contacts with professional estate liquidators and that any and all items on the property would be cleared out within a few days, and the estate would be paid for it to boot! The cleaning out of the estate, which was my biggest worry, now became a solved issue. Literally, within a week the estate was cleared out… not even a toothpick was left behind. The house went on the market and sold for top dollar in about 3 weeks.
The driving force behind all of this was Laura Martel and Daniel Winkler Realty.
Laura and Siqi kept me informed every step of the way and they made the effort I had to put in… well EFFORTLESS!
Even now, weeks after the closure of the home, Laura still touches base with us just to see how we’re getting along. She made what seemed to be an insurmountable problem, just disappear. I and my wife cannot thank Daniel Winkler Realty enough for their friendliness and professionalism. We certainly cannot thank Laura Martel and Siqi Murphy enough for their diligence and most especially their kindness. If you need to sell or buy a home, you would be foolish to go anywhere else but to these great people!

Danny Winkler and associates helped us buy our first home. We have lived in Bayside commons for a long time and talked to and seen Mr. Winkler and his team around the complex. I cannot state how helpful and useful he and his team are. In today’s market you NEED someone who knows the system the way Danny does. Our process was quick and always professional when dealing with him or his team. When we ran into snags he was quick to offer solutions and advice on how to proceed. His extensive knowledge of the East Bay housing market gave us complete confidence. The vendors he suggested to do the inspections were all on time and top notch professionals as well. Many a night I would send out an email after 6pm for them to see and or respond to in the morning and it would be replied to that night. Don’t be surprised if you get emails after 10pm from Mr. Winkler or his team. After this experience I will only use Mr. Winkler and his team for my real estate needs.

If you’re NOT into sleazy, lazy, pushy salespeople who think they’re too busy to deal with you, your best bet is to give Daniel Winkler & Associates a ring. You call, they pick up and respond — what a concept! They help, look, and do what they’re intended to.
Sure, you may be asking why I sound surprised. I worked in a real estate office for 6 years and after meeting a specific agent here last August it’s been hard to turn back. She’s warm, professional, Sunny, friendly, responsive, picks up HER PHONE, responds to emails, and is accommodating which I find incredibly rare in the real estate industry. After contacting nearly 75 agents in a week to try to look at properties, about 10 called back and she just happened to be one of them. Almost a year later, and about 3 – 4 transactions completed through her and Daniel Winkler it’s near impossible to find any comparison.
Yes, I know writing this review could mean that someone else will be lucky enough to find her and that means she might make less time for us, but for such a huge transaction that involves lots and lots of time and money — I’m willing to sacrifice a raving review for a really deserving agent [run on sentences are the death of me I know].

Why five stars you ask? One person: my amazing leasing agent (who has asked me to remove her name from this review). This amazing leasing agent helped us through an incredibly difficult move through Christmas, going way above and beyond work hours to get a lease signed as quickly as possible and to make sure that our experience with the condo complex at 535 Pierce went smoothly. She claims to sleep, but I’m not entirely convinced that it’s true: every time we’ve emailed her she’s responded within an hour, regardless of rain or shine, holiday, weekend, or anything else. It was really refreshing to find someone in the real estate business with her level of candor, openness, and work ethic.
