Futia’s Formal Wear

I had been using a tailor over on Western Ave in Guilderland for some time. But I was not happy with her work. I noticed Futia’s when driving by one day. I decided to check out the website.
On the website I saw that the tailor at Futia’s was born in Italy, and started his apprenticeship to be a tailor at the age of 12! My guess is he’s in his 60’s now.
I first brought some simple work to him that my old tailor had screwed up. Replace a button and fix a torn pocket on a winter coat. He did a great job. I’ve since had him do other work for me and it’s been excellent every time.
It doesn’t say they do tailor work on the website, or the front of the building, and it’s obvious that formal and bridal wear are their main business. But they’ve never turned me away when I’ve brought work to them, and as I said, I’ve been very happy with the quality of the work.
