Jodi is a wonderful realtor to work with. Her business card says, «compassion and integrity» on it, and this is exactly how she conducts her work. Jodi is incredibly patient and a good listener– she has been helping us understand what we need and want in a home and is supportive (yet practical) about all of our needs and ideas. She’s also knowledgeable about the housing market and about houses themselves. We love having her with us when we tour homes as she sees important details that we would miss, can explain how things work, and what it would take to improve the homes. I highly recommend Jodi to anyone who’s looking for a home.

When I first met Jodi, it was to show me around a place that I had seen for sale on Trulia. The home wasn’t in an area that would work for me so Jodi spent some time getting to know what I was looking for in a home — size, home type, area, budget, etc. She listened attentively, we spoke about homes and the current market and then parted ways for the day. A few minutes later Jodi called me and let me know about a few condos that would probably be a good fit based on what I’d told her I was looking for. We met up an hour later to view the places which were exactly what I was looking for! My journey with Jodi had begun!
Jodi showed me some wonderful places, exactly what I had been looking for. She is extremely knowledgeable about the housing market and all the intricacies of buying a home. Jodi helped guide me through all the paperwork and the offer process, and worked tirelessly with me through each offer I made, and continued to find great places that would work for me when my offers weren’t accepted. I learnt so much about the process each time. I made a few offers which were unfortunately outbid but Jodi’s guidance, expertise, and positive spirit helped me to continue the process to find my dream home. Overall the whole home buying experience only took about 2 months (I was eager to move into my own place ASAP).
After 4 offers that were outbid, I made an offer on a condo and it was accepted! Jodi continued to help guide me through the process all the way to close of escrow, stepping in when the process was veering off track (due to the mortgage bank dragging their feet a bit). Close of escrow was successful and on time and I was able to move into my beautiful condo the following day.
During the home buying process Jodi helped refer me to all the necessary services along the way — home inspection, mortgage bankers, insurance agents, notaries, etc. She has great connections and is well known by other folks in the home-​buying industry. Jodi really helped the whole home buying experience be as smooth as possible, making sure that everything was on track and setting up all the necessary appointments. I’m a first time home buyer so this helped me tremendously.
I am so thankful for Jodi’s patience, guidance, advice and help throughout the process of buying my first home. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m so glad to be living here :)

A little over a year ago, my partner and I set out to buy a house in the East Bay and didn’t have a clue on where to begin. We reached out blindly to a realtor blog for help and Jodi was the first person to respond back with some helpful advice. My partner and I took baby steps on our home journey and we signed Jodi up to help us find our dream home. After my first open house Jodi presented me with too many offers to consider. It was her hard work and dedication in getting everything in line ahead of time that made this happen.
If you want an intelligent, caring, motivated relator who goes beyond to make the sale happen look no further. My house came with a few issues as I had tenants but Jodi was well prepared with everything that needed to be done. What I thought was going to be a difficult sell turned out to be just the opposite and sold immediately way, way over asking price.

I usually don’t write comments but had to this time about my experience with conducting a home inspection for one of Jodi’s clients. Jodi knows about everything there was to know about the home I was inspecting and even went ahead finding things for me to be concerned about. We even discussed concerns found in the home as if I was talking to another home inspector. The buyer was impressed and I’m sure thankful for the concern that Jodi had for her in finding the right house. If you ever want a new or second career, give me a call Jodi. Jodi is the most helpful and wonderful person and real estate agent! Jodi helped us work within our budget to find something we really love in a very competitive market. We had very specific needs: off street parking, two bedrooms, yard space, safe neighborhood, and a space for an artist studio in the 300k plus range. We found everything we wanted! After being frustrated with several realtors who seemed to know nothing and add little value, I found Jodi. Jodi helped me buy my first house in Oakland. I was looking for a good investment and willing to do some work on it. Because Jodi has flipped houses professionally, she really knows what’s involved in any project and helped me think through costs and complexities. She was also able to connect me with excellent trades people to do the work I needed. She really added value, and I would work with her again in a hearbeat.

When it came time to buy our home, she actually made some observations and suggestions in the negotiations that saved us money and time.
