Tucked away on the corner of North Jefferson and 7th Avenue, this little hole-in-the-wall barbecue spot used to have some good food back in the day. However, other restaurants have significantly stepped up their game, and now this barbecue spot has been left in the dust. Their barbecue sandwiches are priced too high considering their small size and the quality of the food is not the greatest. Simply put, there are better barbecue joints in Albany.

Definitely a waste of money. I don’t even think they use that bbq grill that’s parked behind the building. The bbq pork tasted like they bought it at SAMs in a container. Definitely won’t be returning.

I miss this place so much. Back in town visiting and got my fix today :) Large beef sandwich, chips & a coke. Mmmm. I’ll be back tomorrow!

Pretty good sandwich, it’s no riverfront bbq, but an old staple that’s been there on the corner for years.
