I had to try this place out, unfortunately, it disappointed in major ways. I had a thick noodle dish, not a fan!

Ok Started off real rough but the woman at the register picked up on my disappointment. Way to go. I was already writing my review when she noticed we pushed our dishes aside. I was upset cause I ordered a order of Tofu for my Soup and there was none. Plus it wasn’t hot at all. My daughter ordered the Japanese pan noodles and had hardly any noodles. Too starchy as well. She asked what was wrong and I told her. She felt horrible and asked if we wanted anything else. She offered a few suggestions. My daughter ended up getting the spicy chicken caesar wrap with side salad. I went with the new Spicy Thai Hot Pot. They both were hot this time. It’s only my opinion, but expensive for the amount of food given. At least it wasn’t a total disaster. While eating my lunch, my daughter who works Across the street stopped in. Because they felt bad they offered her a free lunch. That’s why the 3 stars. They tried to do the right thing. And a shout out for the the woman behind the register who noticed! I wish I got her name. And kudos for the manager, for approving the offer. I just think it’s the chain and that’s the quality of what they offer? I wouldn’t go back. Can’t imagine people would think this was a good meal or good value!

Ordered to go tonight. My dish did not have the chicken I asked to have added. I asked for broccoli to be added as well. It was, but there were just a few tiny pieces. According to the menu, my dish includes cabbage. There was none. My wife asked for extra sauce on her dish, and it wasn’t included. I was ignored at the to go register and had to flag down one of the kids in the back to be waited on. Obviously, there are issues at this restaurant. I definitely will not order to go again.

I’ve been here twice now and it’s just«ok.» The first time I ordered online and went in to pick it up. Very efficient process except it wasn’t ready when I got there. The second time I walked in and ordered. Staff was very friendly and everyone seemed busy. Again, my meal was just«ok.» There are very few options on Washington Avenue Extension(Noodles, McDonalds and Panera) for those of us who work here, unless you want to battle the parking lot at Crossgates Mall.

I am a big fan of Noodles & Company and frequent a location in Florida. On a trip, I stopped by this newly opened store. While the food was almost as good as what I’m used to, they forgot one ingredient in the recipe. However, the most unappealing part of the entire experience was how all of the tables were extremly dirty, including the floor. Dirty plates, noodles, cups, bowls, crumbs… everywhere. If I were local, I would look elsewhere. This location needs more training or more staff to keep up on the cleanliness of their store.

I had eaten at the shop in Richmond VA and was excited to see one open in Albany. I have eaten here twice and my Pad Thai with shrimp was served hot, spicy and quickly. Rest of the men’s e seems a little inconsistent so hope they are working the kinks out. Pot stickers are great and forward to future visits.

Ordered take out… enough said it wasn’t what we expected. The kids spaghetti and meatballs was so spicy she couldn’t eat it. Also, the pasta in the Bangkok Curry wasn’t cooked all the way, no coconut sauce and tons of veggies that were raw. The Alfredo dish was dry no sauce. The overall experience wasn’t appetizing at all. Don’t order around 815, orders will be cold, dry and not what you ordered.

Stopped on a Sunday afternoon, was pretty packed but I never expected to wait 40+ minutes for some noodles and meatballs. Not much in the way of an apology from the manager for the slow service. Watched her text and set her phone down on food prep surface. Probably won’t be back.

Unlike the opening week, the service and the food have become somewhat subpar. Order and pay up front and the staff will deliver your bowls of pasta/noodles straight to your table. The drinking cups my companions and I received appeared oily and dirty, and when asked to exchange the cups we were given doubt. We received a number card to place on our table so the staff person delivered our entrees within ten minutes for a party of four. The Thai Hotpot was not phenomenal but had decent quality ingredients and flavor albeit the lack of heat. The Steak Stroganoff was a salty blend of tough, chewy processed beef. The Wisconsin Mac & Cheese was not completely covered in cheese sauce(I can’t imagine mac and cheese dry and not creamy) and the addition of marinated steak to the dish did not help it. Unfortunately this experience did not live up to my party’s expectations and was very different from our first visit(see previous review). Not sure if I will return because there are a lot of other options out there.

I went tonight and had the Pad Thai with added shrimp, side garden salad and a beer. I was surprised how long the dinner took to come out at a slow time. The Pad Thai had a sweet and slightly spicy sauce on it that was not what should be on Pad Thai. It was way too sweet and I didn’t like it. Rice noodles were a bit too chewy also. Side salad was quite good although the balsamic dressing was also pretty sweet tasting. I liked the available beer, the staff was friendly, and I liked the décor. Prices were reasonable, and the helpful calorie count on the menu helped me realize that a small(750 cal) was plenty and I didn’t need a large(1100 cal). I would try it again if I was at the Orange Store again and hungry, but not the Pad Thai.

Amazing food and amazing service! Went in with a group of six and the entire staff was friendly, checked in to see how everything was and asked if we needed anything. Food was also delicious.

I’ve ordered from this Noodles & Company location twice, and really like the Bangkok Curry dish: Sweet coconut curry, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, a light portion of rice noodles, served on napa and red cabbage with black sesame seeds. It’s very tasty, veggies have a slight crunch, and you can add pork, chicken or tofu to the dish. I do wish it had a little more sauce but overall I loved it, and it will become a regular lunch take-out spot for me.

Ehh, it was a nice spot to eat, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back again. I ordered the Korean bbq meatballs with the Gochujang sauce and I didn’t feel any of the heat. They tasted like regular meat balls with an unknown sticky sweet sauce on it. The Indonesian peanut sauté was very spicy but the veggies could have been cooked a few minutes more.

I ordered the pad thai with marinated beef and my friend ordered the bangkok curry with pork. Food took 30 minutes to come out. Presentation was okay, but I would see the servers walk around delivering dishes that had sauce basically dripping off the side of it. The beef was rubbery and at times it felt like I was eating a combination of chicken and calamari. It did not taste like pad thai at all. I had to douse it in Sriracha to cover the taste as much as possible. Looked like a bunch of leftover veggies were thrown into the mix. The noodles were undercooked and my friend found some macaroni in her bowl of rice noodles. As you can tell I was not a huge fan of it, but each to their own! My friend said she enjoyed my pad thai more than she enjoyed her bangkok curry dish. If you forget what exactly it was you ordered, you might surprisingly enjoy it. Just maybe.

We visited for the first time 12 days after they opened. We liked it! We ordered two upstate New York beers, a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie, chicken pot stickers, Japanese pan noodles with steak and Indonesian peanut sauté with chicken. It cost us $ 30. The staff was friendly and the food came fast even though they make it to order The upside… Local beers and wine, a good variety of dishes from all the way from Mac and cheese to curry. The downsides… The potstickers were completely flat. They more resembled quesadillas. It’s a shame the texture was so «off» because they are served with a delicious spicy soy sauce and the filling is tasty. The chicken and steak were good on both dishes. I don’t normally like fat noodles but the noodles and sauce on the Japanese pan noodle dish were very good. I would come here again and try the more home style Italian American dishes. This is a good quick service place. Overall for experience, taste and price we liked it. A solid 3 star.

This was our first time at Noodles. Ordered the pad thai bowl. I was not expecting much but got a good meal. food came out in about 6 to 8 minutes and was hot and well-made. The noodles were slightly spicy with a lot of flavor and a hint of peanut. I got it with shrimp. Shrimp was OK but don’t think I would get the shrimp again. I might get it with no meat as the noodles had plenty of flavor and would make a meal. Also tried the thai hot pot. Was not a fan of this dish. It might be right for somebody just not for us. Actually sent it back to the kitchen and asked for something different. The request was well handled and we left very pleased! Noodles is definitely worth trying if you’re in the area and not looking for anything too fancy.

Good«fast food alternative». Service is a little slow. Not sure if this is the norm or if they still working out the kinks of recently opening up. However the food is great.

Very disappointed. Ordered online and went to pick up. Food was not ready when it was supposed to be. And not a busy time at all. Got the food home and 2 out of 3 meals were not what we ordered. Side salad missing from order. Considering there where a lot of employees working at the time, I’m confused as to what the long wait was and why it was so screwed up. I guess it’s true what they say about too many cooks in the kitchen! One dish was totally gross the others were ok. Not mind blowing enough to put up with the possible screw ups tho. When we called to let them know that the order was wrong, nobody answered. Also, the contact form on the website brings you to a «page not found».

This was convenient for going with a young child. The food was fairly interesting, and there’s a great deal of variety of dishes, but at least one dish was a bit monotonous. Given how crowded the restaurant was, service was quite efficient, but I was charged for a soup they didn’t give me.

Exceptional service and delicious Wisconsin Mac n’ Cheese. I would say that this is one of the best places i’ve been to thus far. Furthermore it has a modern atmosphere and I would recommend this to anyone. Five stars.

Went there for lunch. Wow what a train wreck. It took forever to get my food… actually I never got food. I waited about one hour before I gave up and left in frustration. Yes I was Hangry! I couldn’t get a refund either because there were 3 people trying to get a refund too. I know that the place is new, but the employees looked like they were not trying hard enough. Didn’t even get to eat their noodles. I wasted $ 11, went to the McDonalds across the street and got a Big Mac Value meal. Based on this experience, not sure I will ever go back.

I think it might be because this place is new but I would wait a while before attempting to come here. The food is okay but the process to get the food is ridiculous. I ordered online and had to wait almost 30 minutes after the time they said it would be ready. Once I got my order it was wrong. The employees were rude and didn’t seem to care that the place was full of people and almost no one had their food. I got the Alfredo and it wasn’t impressive. They seem to encourage customization but I replaced the mushrooms with broccoli and was surprised to find one small piece of broccoli. There was a decent amount of spinach and tomato but the tomato was not fresh and it was not appetizing. The prices are decent and there is a potential for a solid spot but right now this place is horrible. I might try again in the future but I would recommend waiting to try.

Oodles of noodles from the world kitchen! Well, it’s really 12 types of noodle/pasta dishes plus some soups, sandwiches, desserts, and fountain drinks. I foresee parking to be somewhat of an issue if the place gets as crowded as this opening period… lots of cars yet only one strip of parking facing Washington Ave Ext. If it’s not too cold, I’d park at the adjacent lot and take a stroll over, where it seems to have some outdoor seating. Upon entering, there’s a wall sized menu on the right, the menu hung overhead the ordering counter, and also smaller printed menus. A separate line for to-go orders and for dine-ins make it look easier. My dining partner and I decided to try in ‘regular size’ the Indonesian Peanut Sauté(spicy peanut sauce and rice noodle stir fry, broccoli, carrots, napa and red cabbage, Asian sprouts, cilantro, crushed peanuts, + lime), Alfredo Montamore(spaghetti noodles, 4 cheese blend alfredo, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, and parmesan chicken), + the freshly brewed iced tea(Honest Tea). Since Noodles and Co encourages creativity and allows mix-ins/combinations to support its motto for ‘endless possibilities’, I asked them to hold the chicken and to throw in shrimp instead. Don’t forget the small or regular size is the foundation and you can build your entrée(just watch the $ for all the additions ie choice of protein, salad, soup, sweet). After we were given a number card and took a seat at one of the round high top tables(there are booths and half tables too), I headed toward the Coca Cola freestyle machine but found 3 choices of Honest Tea, a condiment bar with various shakers, soy sauce, and sriracha, plus chopsticks and straws. I’m glad they have Honest Tea because I usually don’t drink soda and I wanted something more than H20. We found the Indonesian Peanut Sauté quite tasty and filling, vegetables fresh and crunchy, but lacked the spiciness expected as well as a saucier blend. I don’t want the noodles to swim in sauce and lose its chewiness, so I guess less is greater than too much. The Alfredo Montamore with shrimp was fantastic as no strand of spaghetti was left naked. Toward the end of the meal, we were treated to their rice crispy treats for dessert as a friendly gesture during the preopening event, which were crispy balls of sweetness but were not over-the-top sweet or sticky… so I like that. I’m excited to have this addition to the area and can be a quick lunch or dinner option for the family(they have kids meals too!).

For opening night, I was impressed by the food and service at Noodles & Company. The cashier was a bit confused and overwhelmed when we placed our order, which I was expecting. She might just need to become more familiar with the menu, which will come in time. I ordered the Bangkok Curry bowl and added shrimp. The flavor of the curry sauce was good and the portion was decent. The pieces of shrimp were very small, however, and not worth the $ 3 add-on price. Also, the carrots and broccoli were so crunchy and were basically raw. I’m glad they were fresh and not frozen, but they definitely could’ve been cooked longer. Also, the dish arrived lukewarm. The cook time/temperature is definitely an area where they can improve. My husband ordered the pesto bowl and the sauce, a slightly creamy pesto sauce tossed with tomatoes and mushrooms, was good. Because it didn’t really have much else in it other than pasta and a few tomatoes, the portion seemed kind of small. Still, for $ 6 this was a decent dish and less than you would pay in a traditional sit-down restaurant. We also ordered a flatbread, which did not come out until after our pasta. This was not a big deal, but they threw in a rice crispy treat for the delay. It was unnecessary but appreciated! We were asked 4 – 5 times how our meal was as we were dining, so they are definitely on their customer service game. They might be a little TOO on that game, as it’s difficult to answer that question when your mouth is full of food. They still get points for this and I hope they keep it up even when they are not brand-spanking-new. For 1 glass of wine and 1 beer, 2 bowls(1 with an add-on), and a flatbread, the total came to ~$ 30. Not cheap, but comparable to your basic restaurant experience. Next time I would probably not order drinks, and if I do a protein add-on I will probably go with chicken. Overall, though, thumbs up to N&C and we’ll definitely be back!

Not to shabby for a fast food/casual dining chain! I almost hesitated writing a review because this place clearly needs no introduction. It was rocking with plenty of noodle lovers from the Capital Region. The med salad with chicken was a zesty Greek salad that tasted fresh and was served in a generous sized bowl. My husband got the Japanese pan noodles. It was filled with yummy mushrooms, Asian sprouts, carrot, broccoli and cilantro. Prices very reasonable. They have the beloved Coke fusion machine so you can dream up your favorite Coke product. Plenty of seating inside, service was quick, they bring it to your table. I only wish we lived closer so we could make it one of regular stomping grounds.

Noodles are their namesake, so I had to order a noodle dish. They also have soups, salads, and sandwiches. Noodles & Company claims all of their veggies are freshly chopped daily in house. I wanted to test that, so I ordered a dish with lots of veggies, the«Bangkok Curry». From their website, the Bangkok Curry consists of, «Sweet coconut curry, broccoli, carrots, red bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, a light portion of rice noodles, served on napa and red cabbage with black sesame seeds». I was really impressed, it was quite good. The veggies were very barely cooked, and they were fresh, and very crisp. There were plenty of them,(with the exception of the red pepper, my bowl only had two or three small pieces). The rice noodles were cooked perfectly, and had a little bite to them. I could taste the coconut milk, and the dish was very mild, with no heat. They do provide bottles of Sriracha should you want to add heat to any dish. My only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is the dish was very lightly dressed. Almost too lightly. I would’ve liked more coconut milk. But frankly, if given the choice, I’d rather it be lightly dressed over swimming in broth. I also opted to add pork to my dish. The shredded pork was juicy, and tender. I also tried a bowl of chicken soup. It was tasty, with big chunks of chicken, and a fair amount of noodles that weren’t mushy. The veggies though were mushy, and that leads me to believe the soup is not made fresh in house. The soup is ok, but I’d stick with the noodle dishes personally.
