Park View Pub

I’ve been here three times. The first time I stopped in for a beer after hanging out in the park because they had seating out front and they are across the street. There were people in the bar drinking, but no bartender. I waited for a few minutes before leaving.
The second and third times I’ve been here were for trivia on Thursday nights. Both trivia nights were busy with a good mix of college students and professionals. The guy who runs trivia puts on a good show.
On trivia nights service was good. Food came out quickly and the wait for drinks at the bar was only a minute or two. I ordered onion rings and medium wings. The onion rings were your standard deal — fried golden and tasty. The wings were fine, but the sauce was a little bland and there was’t enough of it. One of my friends had the parmesan wings and had the same takeaway.
They have a great deal where you can get a BLT and fries or a grilled cheese and fries for $ 5.99. My fiancé ordered the BLT with a side of chili. I think the chili is the way to go. It was meat heavy, but had a good flavor. Not what I was expecting to find. The next time I come here, I’m going with the chili or the loaded nachos with chili on top.
