Parkview Landscaping and Home Improvement is a full-​scale residential and commercial landscaping and property management company.

When it comes to actual craftsmanship, we specialize in hardscapes such as stone patios, retaining walls, and customized masonry landscaping. As a whole, our company’s niche focus is full-​property maintenance for both out-​of-​state customers and those right here that are too busy, unsure, or not able to maintain their properties.

Whether it’s mowing to snow plowing, or planting and trimming to paver walkways and pressure washing: Parkview Landscaping has you covered.

We take pride in our work and also pride ourselves on being respectful, courteous and punctual … all while remaining within budget.

History

Established in 1999.

I started the company in its original incarnation back in 1999 out of the back of a station wagon, with a rake and a wheelbarrow, as a way to help make ends meet during my freshman year of college.

I continued doing odd jobs and side jobs throughout college, eventually building up to the point when I turned seasonal work (both in the winter and summer) into my main source of income.

After graduating college, I went on to become a newspaper reporter at several different area publications for the better part of the decade and continued the landscaping company as a side business.

As the business continued to grow, despite the economic woes starting in 2008, I found myself devoting more and more time time to the company.

A few years ago, I decided to make a complete switch, running Parkview Landscaping full-​time and freelance writing on the side. In those short few years, the company has grown leaps and bounds, which is why we are able to offer so many of the services we do today!
