Description

Specialties

We are on beautiful Lake Iona, where you can enjoy our sandy beach or go fishing for the «Big One». At Pine Knoll, children are always free when they are camping with their families. Our tent sites are very roomy and some are separated by natural shrubbery and trees native to the White Mountains.

We also have group tent sites set in the back of the campground for larger camping crowds. Our motor home sites are also very spacious. All sites have water and electric hook-ups. Bikers Welcome.

History

Established in 1960.

Pine Knoll started as a boys camp in the 1940’s and was changed to a family campground in 1964. Today there are 151 sites over 50 acres of campground. Some sites are for the weekend traveler while other sites are occupied year round. Some year round campers have occupied their sites for over 40 years and are still camping with us today.

Meet the Business Owner

Dan S.

Business Owner

Dan is an avid camper who started off as a year round camper in 1990. When Dan took over in the year 2000 he opened the campground all year long for people to be able to experience winter camping. Anyone who comes camping here can always rely on Dan to help them out in any way — day or night — He is a true asset to the campground. Always helpful and willing to lend a helping hand in any way he can. He believes that people work hard all week long, and they deserve a place to come and relax on the weekends and leave the rest of the world behind them.
