History

Established in 1971.

Sims Pest Control was founded in 1971 by Larry T. Sims. Mr. Sims had previously worked at Orkin and had decided to strike out on his own in the pest control industry.

In the mid-​90s, Mr. Larry Sims’ son, Joey, purchased the company from his father. Since then, the company has continued to grow in size, revenues, service area, and services offered.

Still owned and operated by a family committed to excellence, Sims Pest Control looks at the future with eyes of promise and optimism.

Business Owner

Mr. Sims was born and raised in Albany, GA. He graduated from Riverview Academy and began working as a fireman for the Albany Fire Department.

Joey purchased Sims Pest Control from his father, Larry, in the mid 1990s. He is the father of three and a grandfather to one (with another one on the way).

Joey’s focus has always been going the extra mile to provide customers with quality service, and he has a very hands-​on approach when it comes to working with customers.
