Holy god, this place is a treasure trove. I am not lying when I say that more than half of my closet consists of clothing I have bought here at a fraction of the original price. The white labels designate clothing that was specifically designed for the outlet; the black labels designate clothing that was designed for the regular store. I am not going to lie; walking in, the store is more than likely going to be populated with senior citizens. But a lot of the clothing sold here is in a very classic style. The interior is kind of shabby. The dressing rooms are cramped and not well lit. There’s often no music playing, which leaves a kind of dismal atmosphere. But dear god, the savings. I once did the math after one of my sprees – I spent about $ 210, went home, and added up the original prices on all the pieces I bought, and the full retail came to $ 1,986(the year I was born, what a coincidence!). I have so many Chanel-style tweed sheath dresses and jackets; numerous tanks; dozens of pretty dresses; slacks in every color imaginable; an assortment of brandenburg lace and silk tops; a wide variety of skirts; and my two favorite pairs of ballet flats. All from this shop. If only they could sell me additional closet space.

I have gotten some great deals here especially on dress slacks and sweaters. Do pay attention to the labels as a previous poster has mentioned. Get on their email list for special sale notices.

I love this outlet incarnation of Talbots, especially when they are having a sale.
