Very friendly and helpful staff. Always willing to assist me in finding things. Good quality products that I’ve been using for a number of years.

3 stars for the hours and selection. Less than 4 for the lack of assistance.
I’m not going to say when I was there or give the employees name (s) but on two separate occasions, I’ve gotten an «I’m not sure» or «I don’t know, I guess?». Which when buying something for a specific reason, isn’t very helpful.
Last time I simply wanted to know why one version of the cold medicine I was looking at had alcohol and one didn’t. I wondered if the alcohol was needed for the effect or perhaps made the product more of a night time sort of thing or if it really made no difference. I had a preference for getting the one that was sans alcohol, but wanted to be wanted to know the differences. I got an unclear answer and a shrug.
When I got to the register, I asked where the lozenges were and was told «um, they should be where you got this stuff». When I returned bearing no lozenges, I was waiting for the associate to ask if I hadn’t found them, but they didn’t so I left with none.
Over the summer, I had question about a protein mix and some single serve protein drinks and was met with «I’m not sure I don’t really work out». Ok, that’s fine, but you do work in a vitamin shop and protein supplements aren’t just for people that work out.
*sigh* next time I’ll bring Mr. iPhone in and consult google.

We just found out that the answer the associate gave us was a false answer. Some multivitamins and even calcium contain fish ingredients and a mess of other things he promised wouldn’t be in vitamins. This is becoming a worst nightmare scenario, that I’m glad I cross referenced to another store with better credibility. If you’re gonna give out information, send us to a website you know might have the info. Don’t give out false info like the info you gave us this past weekend.

May not be cheaper than the Internet, but at least you know you’re getting something that is not fraudulent, outdated or outlawed, lol. I like to support the private and little health food stores and vitamin shops but sometimes you have to go for the best price. Knowledgeable staff too
