Wow. Just wow on this place. This review is ONLY based on the experience we had with the service department. My fiancé and I bought a 2008 Ford Taurus Limited from Vern Eide(don’t get me started on them…) and thought that when we got the 82,000 miles service done that we should take it to a Ford dealer. In hindsight, just because they are a Ford dealer doesn’t mean anything special, they were terrible. Instead of getting the 82,000 mile service we got an oil change and an «inspection.» We should have gotten a tire rotation but we didn’t. I guess during that«inspection» they failed to notice that the battery needed to be replaced, that there was a screw in the right tire, and to top it off told us that we had to buy new side mirrors to the tune of $ 700EACH because they weren’t working properly. Now I am a skeptic when it comes to cars anyways, especially because I know that some places are more honest than others… but I find it VERY hard to believe that it costs that much money to replace a side mirror. My fiancé took the car to DEML in Waseca and they performed a full tire rotation, fixed the screw in the tire, ACTUALLY inspected it, and let us know that the mirrors don’t need to be replaced at all, that they can repair them for MUCH cheaper. I am very very disappointed in getting charged for a service that wasn’t completed. And being lied to after paying $ 100EXTRA to have a «Ford Certified Mechanic» come up with a way to make a quick buck on someone. They are predatory, they don’t do their jobs, and they don’t care about their customer. I can’t wait to complete the satisfaction survey for them. They actually asked at the end of the service to give them good marks. Let’s add unprofessional behavior to the list of disappointments.
