I have been going to Diva for over 10 years and Maky is the reason I keep coming back! Maky has created unique bouquets, center pieces, and even a few corsages for me over the years and I have never been anything but impressed by her creations! She truly listens to what you are looking for and creates unique pieces that live up to your wildest dreams. I am definitely very picky when it comes to floral arrangements and Maky is the only one I trust to make arrangements that truly take your breath away. I wish I hadn’t waited so long to write a review as she deserves so many thank you’s for being my go to for any special moment over the years!

Diva Florist created the most magnificent flower arrangements for my son’s engagement party and for my special birthday dinner. Maky was so creative and helpful. They have now become my florist of choice.

Diva Flowers did such a wonderful job on my wedding flowers. Before my wedding, I had trouble deciding which colors and style to go with, but she was able to come up with such beautiful pieces of work beyond what I could have imagined. She was very organized and professional, and all the processes went very smoothly that we didn’t have to worry about anything. My husband and I had very vague, and sometimes conflicting requests… She knew everything so well from her experience, and her expertise helped us make our decision that would go well with our wedding venue and dress colors. We agreed to go with modern and classy ambiance, but I still wanted a little bit of natural, garden touch to it (because it was afternoon wedding with outdoor ceremony). During our second meeting, she made sure we agree on everything with nothing left out. She was proactive and knew exactly what needed to be done. The centerpieces, bouquets, corsage, flower baskets and all the little details were just perfect and much better than the pictures on my Pinterest board :-P Everything was looked so gorgeous and flawless. We got so many compliments! Service was highly professional, reliable and very accommodating. Thank you so much! :-D

Working with Maky for my wedding flowers was the best decision I ever made!!! I explained to her my ideas and she just ran with it, with the end result being gorgeous unique flowers! I wanted a garden gathered look for both my flowers and the girls, with the girls having a wild flower look and me having garden roses. I got exactly that! Maky, you’re incredible! I was given a price of $ 50 for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to my friend. I made it clear they should be quality and fresh and that I wanted something special. I said «add $ 10 to make it extra special» and today I saw it. It was delivered Sunday, today is Friday and they were half wilted and the bouquet was small.

Maky and diva flowers did such an outstanding job on my flowers, and for such a reasonable price. My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely stunning and we got so many compliments. The centerpieces were so beautiful! They exceeded my expectations for sure! The price was so reasonable– nothing out of this world. I really can’t say anything better about diva flowers and highly recommend them for anyone. I got married at the fox hollow with about 120 guests.

Let me first say, I might be one of the most indecisive brides ever. Im getting married at Jericho Terrace in June 2015. All though I had ideas of what I wanted my overall wedding to look like, I wasn’t really sold on anything. I recently met with Macky at Diva Flowers and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was so patient with me. Whats great is that not only is she a florist, but she is a wedding planner and designer as well! We threw out ideas back and forth. She was great and helped me developed the overall theme and look of my wedding.
She brought out a sample for me and I was at a loss for words. The display was Gorgeous and was Exactly what I wanted, a look of modern elegance. I can’t speak for everyone there but I definitely lucked out with Macky. She was like the older sister I never had. Because of her experience as a florist and wedding planner, she was able to give me great insight. She also stayed within my budget. I would highly recommended Diva because you’re treated as a person and not like a potential contract

The floral arrangements they made for my daughter’s bridal shower were perfect. they fit our budget and were beautiful and fresh!!! They were cheerfully delivered to our venue; so helpful with setting them up, too! Definitely recommend them and will be using them again!!!

Great selection of exotic choices with good vase options. Friendly and fast service. I told her my price and she came close to it so the price is moderate with the ratio of roses and peonies I chose. Tho a tad bit dingy, the blooms make up for the lack of ambiance. I Love their baby pineapples!

they did a wonderful job and were very personal taking care of our event. We picked color schemes, some photos of arrangements for «inspiration», but ultimately gave a strict budget that Diva was able to make work with sizable and beautiful arrangements.

I usually never right a review, but this place deserves a 5 star. Maki and her team are amazing, they did my daughter’s baptism centerpieces and recently my sister in law’s bridal shower centerpieces. Amazing job very warm and welcoming.
Maki is one of a kind, very creative and has a great taste. You just need to give her a picture and pull aside, as she will transform the picture into a real gorgeous reality. Thank you for all your time and for turning our events even more special with your beautiful flowers.

I went in a couple of days ago for a consultation regarding my November wedding. Maky, the designer, is extremely knowledgeable (thank God!!) and knew what I would like off the bat. Being that I never planned a wedding before, I am always a little nervous before every consultation that I go to– only because I’m not sure what to expect or what i should expect. However, Maky and the owner, B, were very helpful and understanding. They went through everything step by step and definitely were not pushy at all. They understood what our budget was and worked accordingly to create beautiful samples for us to see!- which I loved! Definitely recommend them! :)

I usually don’t write a review unless im extremely impressed or disappointed. my experience with diva flowers was very disappointing so here we go:
i got married recently and did not have a wedding planner so i had to deal with many different vendors planning for my wedding over the course of 8 months and by far «Diva flowers» was THE ONLY ONE which i had PROBLEMS with!
–The owner is extremely disrespectful, rude, and very good in ripping you off! she has no manners and zero professionalism in dealing with customers.
— every time i scheduled an appointment to go in to see a sample based on pictures i’d showed them, i would still have to wait a long time before they could put something together in a rush as a sample; and the work was really not great for the price they wanted to charge me!
— i paid diva flowers $ 300 (!!!) for my bridal bouquet and they gave me the ugliest piece of work i could imagine. no time or effort was put into making it! SO DISAPPOINTING! the whole thing was not even worth $ 30!!!
so i had to beg «Flowers by Georgie» in Astoria, queens the day of my wedding to make me my bridal bouquet for $ 125 and it was breath taking. (i found Georgie’s work amazingly flawless and i highly recommend him!)
at diva flowers, they over-​charge you and the two ladies play good cop bad cop so you think they are actually doing you a fav! don’t make the same mistake that i made.
if you’d like to have a happy experience through planning your wedding, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER DIVA FLOWERS!

I went to Diva today for maybe the 4^th time. In the future, I plan only to use them. They are friendly, helpful, patient and I cannot believe the value. The bouquet they made for me was simply put, beautiful.
At last I have found a florist that’s not going to rip me off, like 1−800-flowers or those other on-​line florists that promise the world, but never deliver.
If you need beautiful, long lasting flowers, do yourself a favor and go here. You won’t be sorry!

So many times in the past, florists have disappointed me. They promise a great arrangement, then you see it and get let down or embarrassed. That will not happen with Diva.
I called and was greeted with a very friendly staff member who listened to my request for a special flower delivery for my daughter’s sweet 16. She made a suggestion for baby pink roses which she described as breathtaking. I told her that they really needed to be spectacular, and while the owner/​staff took my order and reviewed it, she reassured me that the delivery would be perfect.
Not only was the delivery on time but she called to confirm our order, and wished my little girl a very Happy Sweet 16! The flowers are beautiful and fresh, a stunning shade of pink. The flowers arrived in a vase which was placed in a tissue and ribbon decorated box. The presentation was classy and festive. She loved them and felt so grown up to receive them.
Ordering from Diva has exceeded my expectations, and I now know that I can send flowers with confidence that the recipient will receive a gift that I can be proud of sending. Thank you, Diva Flowers!

Diva is amazing, and Maki even more so! My wedding flowers were perfect. On time delivery. very accommodating and was ok with nearly all of my last minute changes. Maki is really good at what she does and has great advice for colors and design. No need for the center piece game. My guests took them home without needing us to ask. One note is that you should be somewhat flexible when you work with these guys (and probably any florist). They want everything to look good because it’s their rep and yours are on the line so if a specific flower comes in not looking as good/​fresh as they should… they will recommend that you change it (even if it’s part of your «vision»). Quite frankly I think that’s better than having dead flowers in the wedding photos. ;)

The work they do is just mesmerizing! Everyone had their jaws dropped at my brother’s wedding. The centerpieces were so gracefully made… we got a lot of compliments and countless «wow’s» for them!
Gorgeous arrangements, magnificent décor, and super charming staff. What else can you ask from a florist? i would give them 10 stars if i only could =)
