This shop is run by honest hard working Americans. You will not be high pressured into unnecessary repairs. Mr McDonald has built a reputation of integrity and it shows in his dealings with his customers.
I like dealing with people who are honest and DO NOT resort to deceitful business tactics.

Pat is a stand up guy. They won’t rip you off, and mostly will try to save you money when possible. I’ve used them for years and even followed them to their new location after they moved from Herricks Road. They’ve also done their best to accommodate me when I noticed my inspection stickers were about to expire. I’ve lived in the area for 21 years and I’ve tried some other places because they were closer to my house, but I will continue to bring my cars to Pat at Shamrock.

Much to my (unfortunate) surprise, my brakes failed this weekend. That awful grinding sound and shuddering stop were the last straw.
Friends and co-​workers recommended Shamrock Auto to me. Strong points from them were high level of trust and reasonable pricing.
I met Pat, the manager, when I arrived. Not having an appointment I kept my fingers crossed when I asked if he could check out the car. I showed up as soon as they opened (8am). He was very accommodating and said he would take a look at the car. About two hours later I got the call, the one we all dread. Bottom line, I needed two new rotors and four sets of pads. I changed my own brakes in the past (when I ad the luxury of free time). His diagnosis was spot on. No unnecessary extras. The car had 83k miles on it and I can’t remember when I changed the brakes last.
By early afternoon I had the car back. Drives likes dream again and I don’t have that guilty feeling like I just got taken at the shop.
I recommend Shamrock. They are friendly, reasonably priced, quick diagnostics, and quality work. I’m happy to have someone to trust. I’ll be back in September for a State inspection, I’ll provide an update to let you know how that goes.
