A Above & Beyond Auto Glass

I thought it was one of the most painless experiences with tinting I’ve had. Though it was not easy to find since it is located behind a used car dealership and the location is somewhat «shady», but don’t let that fool you. I got my front windows tinted as well as the big one up front (I know what it is called but I am not about to admit online i might or might have done something that the state of New Mexico deemed to be not legal), and boy did they do an awesome job!
Yes, they might not have the most fancy looking nor spacious waiting room, but the receptionist was outstanding. She was very polite, professional and patient. I asked about a million and a half questions during a 5 minutes conversations and I confused myself on my own questions, yet she took the time and explained it all to me.
How I judge a business? attention to small details, and they live up to this standard, they paid attention to the smallest details. For example, they didn’t have to put a little piece of tape «Do not roll down» on my window control panel and most likely i would have rolled it down and up and down and up… you got the idea. Keep in mind, the first few days, your tint gonna look imperfect and bubbly, however it’s been a month since I got it and it looks so very nice. Highly recommended.

I read other reviews about this business & was skeptical… specifically about their tint jobs and how most reviews warned about how bad their tint jobs are. I till booked a window tint job here b/​c they were lower than most other places but I was also tinting a company vehicle so I wasn’t that concerned.
I picked up my work car and was happy with the tint job. I would have given them 5 stars but the lady told me it’d be ready around 11AM. By noon I hadn’t heard from them so I called them and they said, «It’s done.» I thought to myself, «Were you gonna call me to tell me it was finished?!»

Had to replace front windshield on my old Pathfinder, they did the job for almost $ 100 less than Safelight. Job took about 3 hours, ready to go & they did a perfect job. That was almost two months ago and everything is still sealed tight and perfect. The bad reviews of the store are likely (just guessing) that they overload the glass techs w/​too many jobs daily and not enough time to do the work. Glass techs were definitely stressed and overwhelmed when I was there, recommend making an appointment NOT just dropping in. Gives them time to make sure they reserve enough time to work on your vehicle. Nasty waiting room, strongly suggest that you drop car off & have someone to go kick back with until it’s ready– and call to make sure the work is done before going back to pickup. Happy Camper!

Had an appointment and had to leave. Didn’t get a good feeling, credit card machine was/​had been broken and I was told I should get cash from an atm I could walk to up the street! Also told they had a waiting area. Turned out to be a run down bathroom sized office with old stained furniture. Smelled like cigarettes and hot. Then told my car would be started late as the guy «messed up another cars tint on a window and needed to take it off and replace». I left! No thank you! Friendly lady but so unprofessional, and dirty.

Purchased my window tint via groupon. I have gone back 3 times. Scheduling an appointment takes 3 – 5 weeks! My first trip back had a bubbled front window, stripped and retinted it in 20 min. Second time left my vehicle there all day, and wasn’t touched. When I pointed out all the spots, I was told they are water spots (they weren’t), and the front mini window looked like the tint was rolled up. Turns out, it was sharpie!!! They colored in the window of a $ 50,000 vehicle with a sharpie. So he stripped and retinted that in literally 10 min. Go back for the third time to redo both windows bc of bubbling, gratefully they did it on a Saturday. They showed me all the scratches on my glass, which I am sure is from the razor blades from stripping it over and over. Those weren’t there 2 months ago! I can guarantee it. The third time is hopefully the charm.
I am not happy with the customer service or professionalism. I would not recommend this company.

Warning, Warning, Warning, Warning!!! Proceed with caution. I too decided to get my wife tint done on her brand new car after purchasing off Groupon. What a disaster, we dropped my wife’s car off and I picked her up to run errands. When I returned her car was not complete so I decided to allow them to fix a small rock chip on my Challenger. Needless to say 15 minutes later they were both complete. When my wife and I got home I got inside to check out the work and right away notice a tremendous amount of bubbles and also huge gaps beaming sunlight from outside. We immediately contact AAbove only to be told that they were booked for 1 month and 3 weeks and could get it fixed then. Well today, I went with my wife to have them look at the Crapy Crapy job that they had done. The lady at the front came out to observe the car and was in compete denial about the bubbles I literally had to walk around an point out the over 30 to 40 bubbles per window and the dirt, and hair that she found in between the tint. I had to repeat 5 times they needed to take all the tint off and re-​tint the entire vehicle. From which she obviously did not want to do… She then proceeded to tell me that in New Mexico because it’s a desert that bubbles are normal because of the dirt… Lol it was funny cause I traded the challenger in 3 weeks ago got a F150 and had tint put on and I didn’t get 1 bubble not even after the tint job was compete also never had bubbles on any car that I have had tint put on… So I let her know that it wasn’t an excuse… Growing frustrated and doing her best customer service impersonation she decided to ignore me and talk to my wife as if I didn’t exist at all. Didn’t even say good bye when I left even though I did… O yea I forgot to mention the chip in the window of the Challenger spread all the way across the window one week later. All I wanted was good Customer Service and for them to honor the 160 I spent on the window and my «lifetime warranty» I understand that sometimes you mess up, but to mess up and put somebody off for almost 2 months and treat them like crap is the worse type of business to have. I can’t wait to pick up my wife’s car at 5:30 today and see the horrible work they do yet again. Will never ever ever go here again and will do my best to prevent others… Somebody should report them to the BBB. Actually I should…

I came to this company to tint the windows of my brand new $ 50K car and I’m sad to say they did a terrible job. Not only are there many air bubbles on every single window even several weeks later, they sliced the weather stripping on my windows during the installation and even stained a portion of the leather in my back seat from wet tint or something that left a black stain the size of a pencil. When i went back to tell them I want to have the tint redone I was told that New Mexico is a dusty state and the tint could never be 100% perfect because there is too much dust in the air that will get between the tint and the glass. I’m not happy at all with their work, the customer service was good at first but it doesn’t really matter if the job is done poorly. I guess I should have know since they are the cheapest in town.

This review is based on my experience with this business through a Groupon I received for the tinting of 5 windows for $ 145. I’d had no prior experience with this business before receiving this Groupon, but feel I received an excellent value for the amount of the Groupon.
When I called I was able to make my appointment with ease, and even received a follow up call the day of to see if I wanted to bring my car in a little bit earlier (I did). When I arrived the ladies in the front office were friendly, and did a great job explaining my tinting options. After I selected my tint the work was started right away. Just like when I made my appointment, they told me it would take about 2 hours to get everything done once I arrived. The shop and lobby were both small, so we waited in the shade under a tree in the parking lot for a little while, and then took a walk to another nearby business for lunch.
The work was done in less time than they estimated, only an hour instead of 2, and I noticed an immediate difference. The checkout process was easy, and, just like it was detailed in the voucher I purchased from Groupon, all I paid at the end was the tax and gratuity on the voucher itself.
There were a few things I wish I would have known in advance, I can’t roll down my windows for 3 days, and I have to park it in the sun for a while (rotating it frequently), I can’t wash it for 10 days, and no more ammonia based cleaners (like Windex) on the windows ever. All that having been said, I took a full close walk around the car, and the tint looks great. I only noticed one small bubble in the back bottom corner of one of the windows. Assuming that the condition of the tint and the windows stays the same as it is now, these are small sacrifices to make for the quality of work that I received for the amount of $ that I paid.

Needed my windshield replaced. Called and scheduled mobile services the next day at noon. They actually arrived to my apartment early and got straight to work. The tech was great, super professional, very knowledgeable. New windshield installed within 45 minutes. He even vacuumed my seats and dash, cleaned the dust off the trim, and was very detailed. Impressed. The price was definitely worth it. Definitely recommend.

They did a great job on my glass but ripped off my parking sticker without asking or informing me afterwards. It didn’t even make sense because they tint the inside of the windows and my sticker was on the outside. When I called to tell them I thought they took it, the lady I spoke to seemed to think there was no way they would have done that… well she called me back and that’s exactly what the technician had done. They retrieved it and held it for me to pick up, but there’s no way I can get it back on my window. It’s an adhesive, not a cling, so it’s done for. Thanks a lot!

I went to them last week for my front windows, Only one small dust bubble. Decided to have them do the rest of my windows and fix the bubble. I was late dropping off. They had some time issues due to my late drop off and the time it took to fully re-​tint one of my front windows. By the time my car was done I couldn’t get away from my office to pick it up… They delivered it to my door!!! Probably not a regular custom for them, but truly… above and beyond what I expected. If the tint they did cures as expected they get to keep their five stars. Price was very reasonable and Brandy, the owner, is a sweetheart to deal with.
Edit: Had to lower from 5 stars to 4… after a few days I found damage that could have been avoided if the technician was careful, but apparently he wasn’t. They did fix the damage aside from the weather stripping that was sliced, not a huge deal but it shows that the tech wasn’t careful enough.
