Abe’s Self Storage

I have not stored anything at this facility but I did participate in a storage auction. The manager is a shrew. Although she was rude to myself and the other auction goers, after I won a unit, I came back with my wife and daughter to clean it outj. My wife, having never been there entered the exit (which really didnt matter because there was no traffic; anyway, the manager came flying out and just started screaming for my wife and daughter to get off the property. They left, my daughter crying, and I ended up unloading the unit myself. After I got the unit cleaned out and gone thru at home, I returned to leave photo albums, diplomas and other personal items we are urged to return to the facility. She said take it to the city dump. You have been warned.

My wife and I had our house hold goods stored here for the last several years. We decided on this place because they have a sign that says 24 hr security and cameras; you are suppose to have a code to access the climate controlled halls with the lockers; with a on site manager to monitor the comings and goings. We felt that our stuff was safe. UNTIL someone broke into one of our units and systemically went through the every box in the unit (10’x10’) and unwrapped all the furniture items. The same person then had to load all the «bootie» into a truck and drive away with it. The onsite manager saw nothing and magically we found out that the 24 hours security and cameras really are NOT. And we were told that it is really not her job to monitor people coming and going from the business. Even though she walks the halls everyday, multiply times per day. The interesting part is who ever did the deed, only took my wife’s clothes and my sons bedroom furniture and all his kids DVD’s. THey were very kind though and unloaded the DVD from the storage box and put all the drawers back in place and put the blanket back on top. «THEY» took their time and even smoked a couple and left the butts behind. MAGICALLY the same kind as the Manager smokes… INTERESTING
