Great little holes in the wall, i saw them everywhere in ABQ, and decided to stop in. Got the green chile burger and it was badass! Fries were great too. Dont expect much ambiance but a good burger

Great, convenient Old Town location for New Mexico’s amazing burger chain. Food was great, staff was friendly. Lots of parking.

My daughters and son-in-laws told us that we needed to try Lotaburger while in Albuquerque. We opted out of Whataburger to go to Blake’s Lotaburger. The service was quick and pleasant and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a burger joint. However, although the food was good, it didn’t quite measure up to Whataburger for me. I did like having the chilies on the burger. Everything seems to be a little spicy in Albuquerque. That is one of my favorite things about Albuquerque food. Overall, I would not go out of my way to eat here but wouldn’t object to it if someone was wanting to go there.

Saturday 5−9−15 Stopped in 2PM to have some lunch. First after placing order we went to sit down and found that all, yes all the tables were dirty and the floors were covered in waste and papers. I wiped down the top of a table and we sat down. I watched a man in a suit and tie that was waiting impatiently for his order(came across the street from the hotel where they were attending a wedding). He got up twice and went to the counter to see if his order was ready. We got our order and found that the order was not right. My burger was not what I ordered, I went up to the counter and gave them the burger back, at the same time a woman whom burger I got came up and had the same problem she got my ordered burger. We gave them the burgers back and the Lotaburger staff was going to remake them. We waited 15 minutes, and then I went up to the counter and asked about the burger. The Lotaburger staff looked at each other like what are you talking about. The young man behind the counter asked the grill staff what they did with the remake. The grill staff pointed to a bag on the counter top warmer, in that bag was two burgers mine and the other customers. Both in the same bag, I don’t know that lady and she don’t know me. How can you put two separate orders into a bag and forget about it on a counter. We were out of time I asked for the money back for the burger, I already ate my fries and drank over half my drink. Being in management I think the young staff needs supervision or retraining. Blake’s is a great burger place; hope the 777 Rio Grande does not change that.

Lotaburger was naturally part of our breakfast burrito tour of New Mexico. I’ve had Lotaburger breakfast burritos before, but this was our first time going during this trip. As other Unilocalers have mentioned, the drive thru isn’t very fast. We waited for our food for awhile even though there was no one in line before us. The breakfast burritos here are huge and packed with green chile, bacon, cheese, potatoes and eggs! Definitely a great value for the money. I enjoyed the flavors, but the eggs were not scrambled, which I didn’t like. I don’t really like fried eggs in a breakfast burrito, so I probably will not get breakfast burritos from here again during this trip.

If you don’t like this place there is something wrong with you. It’s not Blake’s-it’s you. Best breakfast burritos in town. They’re not the fastest fast food, but it’s worth the wait. One of NM’s best kept secrets in my opinion.

Blake’s is pretty standard yet the food is very tasty. This is one of my fav locations. The customer service is surprisingly better here than the others. And the burritos are made better here than I’ve had them anywhere else. Cheap and delicious!

Very dirty. Tables not wiped. Counter by the soda fountain had been cleaned for hours. Service slow. Overall the restaurant was very dirty and I won’t be back.

Poor customer service. Drive thru takes forever. Burgers have been undercooked a couple of times, so check your order before you leave. Not one of the better Lotaburger locations in the city.

On a road trip to Cali, by way of Arizona and New Mexico, we found Blake’s Lotaburger with the help of Unilocal! While the service was VERY slow, I must admit the food was VERY delicious. We both got a regular lotaburger and I got a blueberry shake. I love«fast food» places that have shake flavors beyond the usual Neapolitan… Blake’s has blueberry and cherry too! We would definitly hit this place up again if we were passing through.

Typically I veer away from any kind of fast food… I hate McDonalds, Burger King, Carl’s Junior and anything thing else that qualifies as greasy gut bomb food. Surprisingly enough, I actually liked Blake’s Lotaburger. I did have to get past the typical grease-heat filled air as I past through the doors. I hate the smell of grease-fryer filled air and wish more restaurants would invest in cleaning them more often and also having proper venting systems to alleviate such nasty smells and funk that cling to your hair and clothing after entering such establishments. I ordered a barbeque beef sandwich and strawberry shake. It was delicious. I have to say… I am a fan. I also like the fact that as a fast food restaurant in the Southwest, Lotaburger actually embraces that which is traditionally Southwest… the green chile! I LOVE that they have this as an item to have slopped on your burger or anything else you may want it on. Very Cool… they even do a twist on breakfast & bring in that Southwest element with that as well. Good to see a business stick to the local appeal but still compete with the mainstream places.
