Clean Carpet Care

Needed to clean area rug that had been soiled with dog urine. They gave a me a good price and gauranteed that the rug would be rid of the smell. After several weeks with no call I called them and they said that they tried to clean it several times but there was still a smell and said they would try one more time. I called later and they said it was ready to be picked up. I paid for the rug and as I was about to load it in my vehicle I gave it a smell. Well, the urine smell was still there. They told me that they did their best and this was the first time they were not able to get the smell out of a rug. I reminded them about the gaurantee and he immediately agreed to refund my money. Good marks for honoring their gaurantee but not sure why they charged me in the first place if they new the smell was still present.

My mother has very light carpets in her house. A year ago, she took in my grandparents, her parents. Because they were quite elderly, she had to do everything for them. Inevitably, messes happen. There were quite a few stains that had popped up over the course of a year. Since the carpet was so light, they showed up clearly.
My mother had gotten a business card for this company and she called them. They offered her a good price. She made an appointment for them to come out, with a specific time period for them to come. My grandmother had passed away, so lots of family was coming to town, so my mother had to go get people from the airport. She moved all the furniture out of the room that was going to get cleaned and the company never showed up. She waited and waited, then had to go to the airport. Several hours later, she figured they wouldn’t show, but then the company called. They said that they were running a little behind. (This was 8:00 and they were supposed to show up at 4:00.) They asked if they could come out the next morning, but my mother couldn’t do that, since we had to house family members. So, she asked them to come over right then. They weren’t happy about that, but they did come.
The carpet looks great. You can’t even see any remains of a stain!
So, customer service and follow through, meh. Work performed, excellent. My mother said that she paid $ 67 for a pretty big family room, so not ridiculously expensive.
