Look elsewhere. They seem nice at first (both the homes and the staff). But after you move in you realize the homes are cheap and staff are very bad at listening to your needs. They finish your sentences and try to minimize your frustrations spewing nonsense. Which in the end makes you more frustrated and has you walking away more frustrated. I don’t think they realize that people are not idiots, which is evidenced by the way they speak to you and tell you things that are just illogical. They like to speak of their years of experience because they must believe that makes what they say seem more reasonable. Although I am not a manager of an apartment complex so I have limited expertise with regard to the nuances of such, I do have expertise about human interaction. That said, I am quite confident that they do not actually listen to residents who come to the office with an issue, as they try to normalize or minimize things, such as with my unit and the heating/​cooling cost by saying «well you are living in an older unit» when in fact my unit was not built when I signed my lease just over a year ago (I am living in a brand new unit).
Just basic flaws in communication and lack of interest in follow through on what you are told when you sign your lease. I concur with the other reviewers on here. My experience with staff, especially Ms. S. has been quite rude, condescending, reactionary, and uncomposed.

This is the first negative review I’ve written,
I generally only choose to write good reviews, but after some thought, I decided to write this one because I read Unilocal reviews and I would want to know if someone had the experiences like my Husband and I dealt with. Also it can be used to help the property make changes for the better (hopefully). The apartments themselves are very nice. And at first the office people were nice as well. However, there is barely any parking, and while you can choose to get a two car garage, any friends visiting will have issues finding parking. One of the running jokes was that people get their vehicles towed a lot and please believe– it’s not a joke. When we were moving out we parked the uhaul right in front of our garage, it was not blocking anyone else, and we had to stop loading and get some sleep before we left the next morning. They attempted to tow the moving truck. Luckily the company they use (which is in the ghetto of ABQ and will charge you $ 275 daily) wasn’t able to two a moving truck full of stuff. Had there been parking anywhere close we would have parked there but the only acceptable place was in front of our garage. Like I said, the actual apartments themselves are new and nice, but everything else needs a lot of improvement.

Disappointed is the best way to describe my feelings about living here. Staff is very defensive when you offer suggestions or voice concerns, so beware of offering feedback to them directly or via online reviews (see other reviews for Diamond Mesa and Brownstone complexes).
The units were rushed, which is evident by the carpet tacks sticking through carpet (e.g., stab your feet while walking), as well as paint missing on walls. I feel the units are cheaply built and the price does not match the quality they advertise. Keep in mind that they show you the model unit and not the one that you move into; especially when the unit you rent has not been constructed yet. Therefore, you are left viewing something that looks really nice, but the actual units do not seem to be as nice as the model.
There is limited parking and they are always towing your cars and your friends cars. Although you can get a garage, don’t park anywhere else in a rush, or make sure your friends are parked correctly. They contract with Park Rite, which is a company that cruises around and finds cars to tow. They call Greg’s Towing, which is about 20 miles away (near Jaun Tabo and Central). As a result, they charge between $ 220.00 to 300.00 to tow your car.
They make many promises when you move in, but frequent policy changes make those promises nil. Staff were initially very nice, but soon after you sign your lease, they become quite rude and say things on a whim without actually processing your question/​comment/​concern. Many of the things they say are defensive, condescending, inaccurate, or contradictory to things they previously said. Such as, carpet cleaning and light bulbs. Another example, while viewing the place before signing the lease, they said the flooring, «is faux wood» but linoleum is not faux anything… it is linoleum.
They also inform you of additional charges throughout the year (see above with regard to the previously mentioned policy changes) that were not listed when you move in. They said there would be no carpet cleaning for normal wear and tear, but now mandate that all carpet must be professionally cleaned, they offered free light bulbs, but now charge (poor wiring leads to shorts and bulbs burn out regularly, which is costly — we have had to replace all the kitchen bulbs at least twice in 8 months time). In fact, they went from offering free bulbs to charging you $ 7 to 12.00 for each bulb. When asked about it, they say, «it is because we use energy efficient bulbs, so we have to charge for them now». What they are really saying is that they overextended themselves by offering free bulbs and now that the bulbs burn out, they are not willing to follow through with their initial offer. Honestly, I am okay with purchasing my own bulbs and paying carpet cleaning, but don’t offer something to make your complex more marketable and then change policy after an influx of new residents were promised these amenities. If you would have been upfront about it, I would not be feeling as if I were coaxed by your niceness and «perks». Especially when I brought this to their attention and the office person became extremely defensive and said, «I did not say any of those things, I am tired of people saying that I told them that». My thought is that multiple people who likely do not know each other are consistently giving her the same feedback. It may be that staff is frustrated with ownership’s attempts to cut cost, which leaves the staff to take the heat from residents who are frustrated with being offered amenities that cannot be carried out for the duration of the lease.
They advertise «state of the art» and «energy efficient» appliances, but lets be honest, overall the units and amenities are very CHEAP (e.g., bare bones). Horrible insect infestations and pigeons crap all over your balcony (though they do have an exterminator for the bugs, they offer no help with the pigeons). They tell you, «get a fake owl, that works for me»; heads up… it does not work, so you are left with a balcony that is covered in crap. The gym they show in the picture is not the one they have, as the current gym is much smaller with fewer pieces of equipment.
Not really as safe as they guarantee, cars broken into, gates frequently left open, people trying to open your door at night, general misinformation provided by staff, and overall rudeness when you need repairs or ask for follow through. I know the crime here is not their fault, but they do emphasize the safety and security when people are interested in signing a lease.
Again, disappointed. Will not renew lease and will no longer recommend to others where I work to consider moving here. Don’t take them at their word, and save your money and headaches.

Inside was built pretty shoddy. Vinyl floors lift and the paint chips very easily. I regret renting here not worth it for the price. Pools aren’t heated and the hot tub doesn’t stay open in the winter. Hot tub is tiny and ran by little kids. You Can get a house to buy or even rent for 300 less than this place. Didn’t renew my lease. Bought a home for 200 less a month in mortgage with a yard for my kids and dogs to play. Update!*** don’t rent from here unless u are desperate section 8. They will tow your friends car within 10 min of not parked in a designated place. But there’s never any parking ever! If u have a friend who want to stop by for 10 min to drop off a gift be careful. Plus the towing place they choose is horrible. GREGS TOWING. The personnel is rude and inconsiderate when my sister has epilepsy. He told me no she cannot get her meds u left in the car call 911. Well honey I work for 911 and we don’t carry epilepsy medication you MORON. This place is so bad they lowered the rent by 150 a month this year. Thank you when my lease is up I will pray to God thank u for letting me be rid of this infestation of hell!
