History

Established in 1985.

It all began with a little company in Washington DC in the 60’s called Dirt Cheap. Current owner, Bill Reno use to solicit business by knocking on doors and shampooing carpets on the spot. Dirt Cheap then evolved into a company called ThoroClean, which marketed to high rise businesses in the D.C. area. The business did well, but Bill was not a a fan of life in D.C. and wanted to return to his roots in Colorado roots. In 1974 he moved to Denver, and founded a sister company to ThoroClean called Carpet Mountain. Once the business was established and doing well, he sold the company and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he then founded his current business, Excel Carpet Cleaning.

Over the years Bill has perfected his cleaning system, and uses a state-​of-​the-​art clean water rinsing system to clean carpets, area rugs, and upholstery. Bill has built a thriving business which provides his customers with exceptional results and professionalism.
