History
Established in 2010.
Fri-B-Que Sauce is made from a secret recipe that has been passed down for three generations. This secret recipe was given to Michael by his father, Clarence Frison Jr. After Clarence Sr. served in the military, he attended culinary school. He put his education to use when he crafted a delicious BBQ sauce, using it for many years in Pittsburgh, PA. The response was so great that Clarence decided he needed to create a tradition, and he passed the recipe down to his son. Clarence Jr. then passed the recipe down to Michael. Michael, being raised in New Mexico modified the sauce a bit to combine the flavor of New Mexico with an East Coast BBQ sauce.
The recipe is truly secret, it has never been written down, and is still made from Michael’s memory. While the sauce was just a special family tradition, Michael decided to take his secret sauce a step further, hoping to create a legacy for his own children. Michael named and bottled his sauce, to now be distributed worldwide.
