Business Owner

Gayle Martin is our Qualifying Broker and owner of Land of Enchantment, Inc. She was born in Derry, New Mexico where her family owned a ranch. Gayle is no stranger to hard work and has built the company from the ground up. Prior to enter in Real Estate Gayle was a Welcome Wagon Hostess for the city of Albuquerque proudly introducing newcomers to the area. In 1973 she decided to become a Realtor and obtained her Qualifying Broker license in 1976. While selling real estate, Gayle initially began managing properties for investors who purchased homes through her. This was the beginning of our Property Management division. She has won several awards personally and on behalf of Land of Enchantment, Inc. Gayle’s mission with Land of Enchantment, Inc. has always been to do the best ethically and in the best interest of her internal and external customers and clients.

I posted this a few years back on another review page. I think this is important enough to put on my Unilocal account for a review.
Land of Enchantment WILL take your deposit one way or the other. My boyfriend and I scrubbed the house down from head to toe for two full days and nights. Cleaned the front and back yard. They came in with the «check list» and said everything was «Great» marked us down for a perfect inspection. A month later we get a bill for $ 15.00 saying that we owed them. On top of them taking our 1,050.00 deposit. We hired carpet cleaners that THEY referred to us only for them to «hire» them again. (pocketing the money obviously) We had a patch of grass. and I mean a patch in the front yard… They said it took the gardener 3.5 hours to «Mow the lawn». (pocketing the money obviously) These people are crooks and I wanted to post this for the next person to see because when i checked the ratings i saw one exactly like this and i ignored it. Lesson learned
P. S. Please look for other reviews elsewhere. My post is one of many when it comes to stealing your deposit.

I am a homeowner who used this company for property management. I cannot state it strongly enough, owners please find another company to manage your property. While the company started off well, they had many staff changes and the services deteriorated so severely that I had to terminate my business with them. Even the termination was problematic. They allowed the property to fall into disrepair and failed to communicate with me the state of the property. They blamed the repair problems on me, the owner, when talking with the tenants and they blamed the tenants when talking with me. In no case did they accept responsibility for the services they were paid to carry out. There are other choices out there and I recommend that you shop around for one of them.

So far, so good! I’m renting a house in the NE area of Albuquerque since November 2011 and the experience has been great.
Me and my husband fell in love with the house when we first saw it. It was the only place of many we saw, that was spotless and pristine clean.
The staff of the real state company are very friendly and the website to submit payments and fix requests works really well. The service providers for the real state company are also very competent and professional, and have done a great job in our home.
