History

Established in 2009.

Smart Consignment Décor began as a way to give buyers and consignors better value for their money during really tough financial times. Many people downsized and needed to sell furnishings and many more people were looking for a less expensive way to furnish their homes. Furniture consignment seemed to be a good business model in what is still a difficult economy.

I opened Smart Consignment Décor when I retired from years of selling high end furniture and decorative accessories to retail stores and designers. All of us here have years of retail furniture and accessory sales experience. It is so much fun to take our consignments in, merchandise them and send them out again to a new life.
