Pretty efficient and amazing considering it’s a UNM clinic. I’ve been coming here for travel vaccines, but I’ve been watching how the place operates in general, and it’s pretty great. I’ve never seen any ridiculously long check-in lines(although they have a setup for it, so I can imagine that at certain times of the year it can get that way). The staff are pretty quick and knowledgeable, and I’ve never had a real frustration with anyone like all too often happens at «real» doctor offices. The pharmacy is great — always quick and very helpful. Prices are good and they do their best to help students out. Everyone has been great about explaining things to me when needed, and I’ve never had a true issue here. My one complaint — which honestly needs to be addressed — the guy who has drawn my blood twice puts a glove on one hand, rubs alcohol on my arm, then uses his un-gloved finger(which I have not seen him in any way sterilize) to prod for a vein. Why he bothers with any alcohol, I have no idea. I should never have let him put a needle in me after that — and I won’t again. Anyway — great place, but watch out for un-sterilized needle sticks!
