JT Brewski’s Pub

I frequent this place often. It’s my go-​to bar and I love it. The food is always good and the drinks are steady. The prices are cheap and the bartenders are friendly and know what they’re doing. If you’re walking in expecting a five star dining experience, you’re going to be disappointed. It’s a BAR. A BAR in Delco. I think given those circumstances, JTs exceeds expectation. It’s always a good time and since the expansions is a nicer. You can smoke here but I don’t notice the smokiness as others have commented. They try to put the fans on or open a window or two if it’s nice to circulate the air. I have no complaints, I love this place.

Awesome spot for an after work drink. The menu is pub food but it is all delicious. The staff is fun and friendly. You can buy 6 packs here if needed.

I really like this place, the beer is cold, the food is good, it is unexpectedly good as I would have thought that this was a bar with a restaurant, not a restaurant with a bar. There is a difference. The food here would be good with or without the throngs of people.
The bands they get are also top notch. My buddy Paul Scheb plays here from time to time and it is generally packed when I am there. It’s a good kind of packed. Mainly there is a lot of younger people there but I have never been hassled. In fact everyone there seems happy, laid back and ready for a good time. It’s a nice vibe.
The bartenders are quick with a drink. They poured a good pint Guinness. The bathrooms can get beat up, but like I said it is packed, so this is expected. I obviously have not been in the ladies room, so that may be a different story. The place is well managed and my only regret is that it is a little bit of a distance from me. Not too far, just not too close, if I lived around the corner it would be my weekly haunt.

This bar has some good burgers. This bar has evolution lot #3 on tap. Those are the two most important things this review will impart to you, so I thought I would expidite that info to your mind in the first two sentences of this review, in case you were in a serious situation which required you to find these two things within a limited amount of time, to prevent an even more serious situation, possibly relating to bodily harm, done by you, to a significant other, for example a girlfriend, who may have made claims prior, or stated at some time, that on this day, food preparation would have occurred, and have finished, at, or slightly before, the arrival of you, at your common residence, from your living hell of a job, hungry as hell, and ready for a beer. If you made it this far, and everyone is ok, they have a better than average takeout selection with a few craft beers available. Guinness on tap. No pool table. Digital jukebox with good volume. Smoking is allowed. Bartenders are good. 7 TVs. Skeeball.

Bestest local bar. I hate the smoke but love the bar. The sweetest and most friendly bartenders. Great personalities. The food is pretty good too!

I love coming here to play with my band, Mystery Machine. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent. Bridget is an awesome bartender — even remembered my name haha. The chef is really cool too. Nice draft beers and a great mixed crowd make this a really fun venue. Thanks Brewski’s!

Getting some take out wings. My husband loves the wings but says the smoke is horrible so we can’t frequent this place to have lunch etc.
Maybe things will change down the road. Low rating due to smoking policy.

Nice bar however one of the owners pretty much lives there is constantly drunk, cannot see this being a plus for business, there are many occasions where there are toddlers running around the bar, which makes for an uncomfortable setting. The staff is great except for a few that bring their problems to work and take it out on the patrons. Has a great potential for a sports bar some minor changes and the place could be one of the better local bars in the area.

Well, I think it’s time for an update for this place. I’ve tried their food on several occasions, and the food is actually pretty good for a Delaware County bar. That said, don’t expect gourmet, complex flavors, exotic ingredients, etc, but it’s a pretty good, solid menu. There are a few things vegetarians would like. They have a pretty good bottle selection, so beerphiles should be happy. Still not pleased with the smoking, they could easily accomodate smokers in another room, and make it a smoking/​non smoking place. But it seems roughly half the clientele does smoke, so that’s just the way it is, I guess.
Not really a destination if you’re in the city, but if you’re in the area, or meeting up with friends in the area, it’s a good choice. Wawa & the Primos train station is right next door if you’ve happened to have one or two too many…

I always have a good time at this place on a friday night. Management is super friendly and my bacardi and diets are very reasonably priced. Try the fried pickles! They are awesome! A good spot to go after work with some of the girls. Only downfall is the smoking. I’m not a smoker and all of my friends are so I end up leaving stinking like an ashtray.

Good beer, Great Food and the nicest people around the Delco area. Get rid of the smoking and it will be the spot to go every weekend!

Love this local bar. The people are very friendly and there’s always a variety of interesting folks at the bar. The bar menu is great with plenty of appetizers and sandwiches to choose from. Daily specials also help to keep expenses down. Love that they have Dogfish Head 60 min on tap as well as Stella. The bartender Bridget pours an excellent Guiness. Live music on the weekends is a plus too.
My only reason for giving this bar 3 stars is the fact that it is a smoking bar. It is terrible on the weekends and sometimes even during the week. Despite open doors and air systems, you still leave smelling awful. I wish they would just nix the smoking and this place would be just the perfect neighborhood bar.

This place is in what used to be Thomas’. In my quest on St Patrick’s Day for a semi-​authentic Irish meal, I decided to give them a try hearing that they had a special menu on that day.
From what I gather, this place is a pretty basic Delco style place. They have a healthy bar, but they seem to be attempting to have a decent menu as well. There are a couple of Irish themed dishes along with pub fare. I was mildly impressed with the selection.
On this day, I chose an item that was only on the special menu for the day, bangers and mash. I figured that it would be a test. If they cared enough to find a decent plate of bangers, I’ll know they are somewhat serious about being an eating destination.
To the new management of this establishment, I officially say mission accomplished! It was a very tasty plate that went well with a pint of Guinness.
I don’t know how good the rest of the menu is, but I do think they deserve a shot.
