History

Established in 1982.

The North Ridge Citizens’ Association (NRCA) promotes the interests of the homeowners and residents of our community in Alexandria, Virginia. Members seek to preserve the quality of our community by working with neighbors and the City of Alexandria to promote the beauty and livability of North Ridge.

Almost Heavenly Christmas Trees has supported our annual Christmas Tree sale for over 25 years. Known for their quality and customer service, they’ve been a wonderful partner for the North Ridge Community.

Business Owner

Phil & Shari started Almost Heavenly Christmas Trees together while raising their four children, Matt, Nate, and twins Emily & Tory on the family tree farm in Augusta, WV. Phil grew up a military brat, going on to attend the United States Naval Academy (68′) before becoming a Christmas Tree farmer and children’s book author. Shari is a native of Jacksonville, NC, attended Sweet Briar College before earning her MBA from George Washington University and going on to a career in marketing. Matt is also a USNA Graduate (05′) and currently lives in New York. Nate, a Duquesne University alumni where he completed the Naval ROTC program, now lives with his wife and 2 year old daughter in San Diego. Emily & Tory are West Virginia and Shepherd University alumni respectively and Emily lives in Washington, DC after recently returning from serving in the Peace Corps in Azerbaijan and Tory lives in Winchester, VA.
