Oriental Rugs

We Hand wash all rugs in our cleaning plant with cold water and a neutral ph cleaning solution that removes the dirt, dust and allergens that accumulate in your rug over time. Then your rugs are dried with dehumidifiers to completely dry and then are delivered.

We will also place your rug back in your home wherever you would like and move furniture etc,

We Specialize in fine fabric upholstery cleaning, but we clean all types of upholstered fabrics.

Hi, I’m David, owner and operator of David’s Carpets, Upholstery and Oriental rug Cleaning. I have worked with carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning and oriental rug cleaning, for over 20 years, and I’m carrying on the business my Dad started when I was a child. I believe what we had in common most was the desire to succeed by doing the best job possible for our customers.

At David’s, the customer is always who we aim to please and if we cannot get it out, then no one can. At David’s you will find what you’re looking for with all your cleaning needs.

Like many others, I purchased an Amazon Local deal for what I thought was a good service. I called on Monday to schedule an appt (but I did not let «David» know I had a deal, he assumed I was paying full price). I got ahold of the guy answering the phone, which I assume was David. We scheduled for the next Friday at 1:00 pm but he also had a 9:00 and told me to call him back if I wanted to change to that time slot.
Well, on Tuesday, I called to bump up the appointment to 9:00. No answer, left a message. I called again several times during the week and there was no answer. By the time Friday rolled around, I just accepted that my appointment would be at 1:00. No big deal.
That Friday, I spent all morning lifting everything possible of of the carpets so David could clean as much as possible. I spent a good hour making sure that the only things left on the carpets were beds and heavy furniture. My appointment was at 1:00. At 2:30 I called David to ask when he would be arriving. I had to leave a message for him to call me back.
At 4:00, I realized that David’s Carpets was just not going to show up and I busted my carpet shampooer out of the closet to put it to work. My $ 100 (from Amazon) carpet shampooer is a million times better than David’s Carpets because it isn’t going to leave me hanging. It gets to work when I call on it, unlike David.
David’s Carpets is not a legitimate business. It is just a waste of time and Amazon Local vouchers.

I bought the Amazon Local deal too. David answered the phone «hello» sounding annoyed I was calling. After scheduling and rescheduling and rescheduling, he showed up 3 hours late to the appointment. He borderline scared my wife with his unprofessional behavior and demanded that she pay $ 199 for services over an above the Amazon Local Deal … BEFORE HE STARTED. They «cleaned» 1800 sq feet in TWENTY MINUTES and left. The carpets were not cleaned, not conditioned. They moved no furniture. I could have rented the machine they used at Home Depot and done a much better job.

David’s Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning is worthless. I purchased this because my roommate and I are moving out and needed to get our carpet cleaned. I called once and scheduled an appointment weeks out — they didn’t show up (and didn’t answer their phone that day). I left numerous messages. I finally got a hold of someone and they rescheduled a time (yesterday). They didn’t come again, didn’t answer their phones and didn’t return my messages requesting they call me back so we can plan something (my roommate moves Saturday meaning now I’ll have to stay at home from work in the next 2 weeks). I tried to call just now and they hung up as soon as they picked up — when I called again they didn’t answer.
I’m sick of them — I want my money back and I’m going to find one of their competitors.
I don’t blame Amazon Local (but I do want my money back) and I highly recommend they cut ties with them.
Other Unilocal reviews indicate that this isn’t an isolated incident.
I don’t even have a Unilocal account until now — but I wanted to complain here and to the BBB.

After all of the time that I have wasted trying to redeem my Amazon Local deal, I really can’t be bothered to write an insightful review. Besides, I have experienced the same issues as everyone else.
Save your time, money and effort. DO NOT do business with David’s Carpets.

I originally heard of David’s Carpets from the local Amazon offer, while I didn’t need the service he was offering through Amazon, I saved his information for when I would need our furniture cleaned, I am glad I saved his information.
After playing a short game of phone tag, we set up our appointment for Thursday June 6, 2013, he was on-​time, he actually called me to say he would be a little late, but was still with in our window. He was very professional and did a fantastic job on cleaning our micro fiber furniture that hadn’t been cleaned in 7 years but had been «well used» by our son and dogs, he also cleaned the carpet in our hallway. We had forgotten what the furniture actually looked like when we bought it and are thrilled with the job David did.
Thanks David, we will recommend you to others and use your services again.

Much like everyone else who has done business with David since he offered the amazon local voucher I have received the worst customer service possible. I scheduled an appointment for the morning of May 10th. I spoke with David the morning of that appointment he informed me he would be 1.5 hours late. After that phone call I was unable to get a hold of him for the remainder of the day. He never showed. He finally answered days later and gave some nonsensical excuse for why he didn’t come. Stupidly, I gave him another chance for May 31st. Once again he didn’t show nor did he call to say he wouldn’t be coming. I still haven’t heard from him. Amazon promptly gave me a refund and said they would escalate my complaint to the proper levels. Bottom line don’t ever do business with this individual.

OMG… before I bought the Amazon Local, I read the few but good reviews online. I now think David wrote them. The WORST business ever. I made apt number one and he did not show. He said he didn’t have me even on the schedule. I reminded him of our conversation and every detail… then he blamed the computer. He then said he would come out a week later. Once again, he didn’t show, didn’t pick up his phone. Only good thing that came out of this was AmaZon refunded my money. Makes me not want to try anything for in home. Can’t run a business if you never show up?

This guy is the worst. He didn’t show! I called 2 hours after the appointment to find out if he was running behind and he was so rude. He told me that we were «running a shitty business». He also said that the amazon voucher does not apply to businesses. It doesn’t say that anywhere on the voucher and he did NOT turn us down while making the appointment. We were very clear in letting him know we are a business. It’s his loss. We are a very reputable business and give a lot of referrals for jobs well done. Sorry, David… you’ll get the opposite. All of these reviews sound EXACTLY the same! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! PROBABLY THE WORST WORK ETHIC I’VE EVER DEALT WITH!

Wish I could give them negative stars. Huge disappointment! I bought their amazon local deal, and called quickly to make my appointment for one week later at 1pm. The man I spoke with confirmed my address and contact number on the phone, so I know he had them down correctly. That was the last I heard from him! They were no-​shows; my boyfriend and I each called to follow up that night and left polite voicemails, and neither of us ever heard back… It’s been over a week. Thankfully amazon customer service is phenomenal and I was refunded instantly for my voucher. What a terrible customer experience — stay far away!

I would give 0 stars if I could! We bought amazon local deal for Davids Carpets. I had to call at least 10 times for someone to actually answer the phone. David was not professional and not friendly! The deal said that the service area includes 20-​mile radius of 22 314. But David wanted to charge me additional $ 25 to come to our place which is 9 – 12 miles away from 22 314. Also deal states that voucher valid for all building types except high-​rises (buildings that have minimum of 12 floors). We DO NOT live in a high-​rise, but David again wanted to charge us $ 25 for the 3rd floor apartment… It looks like David just wants to add all imaginable «extra» charges. I contacted amazon deals and after we told them how David deals with customers, they gladly refunded our money. Stay away!!!

What an excellent experience. Wish more local businesses were as competent and friendly. I have an antique Persian rug that I got from consignment a couple years ago. Pretty tattered up and dirty when I got it, and add to that my elderly kitty peed on it (before she passed away RIP Sheba.) With the new addition of hardwood flooring in my condo, I thought now is the perfect time to shell out some dough and get the rug professionally cleaned. Especially considering the cat urine, that stuff is lethal. David is running his own business, he’s knowledgeable, friendly, and timely. He came to my place to pick up and deliver the rug, and had it done a day sooner than I expected. The results are better than I could have hoped for, seriously, he turned this cat-​piss stanky, dirty old thing into something exquisite. Price was very reasonable. I heart David.
