So I’m here celebrating in Cinco de Mayo. To my surprise at 8 the place was nearly empty. I’m not sure if on this night they wet short staff or perhaps everyone was like F it I’m not coming to work because I’m about to go party but we should have went to Taco Bell & I hate Taco Bell. The waitress was friendly as I watch her wait on every customer, greet, & work the bar. As the door the kitchen opened I noticed the following that concerned me. 1. Kids in the back 2. No hair nets 3. Food coming out of microwaves My food came out wrong. After waiting over an hr I left with what was now a take out. Unhappy to say the least. Cinco de ehhhhhh – 1lk

The place is good for their traditional style of Spanish food no complaints but the place itself is pretty much Rundown you could use a lot of TLC and a lot of people who would be there but overall the food is pretty good and I would definitely recommend getting the pupusas and the carne asada

3.5. We stopped in for quick Mexican food after a day at the sauna. It was good not great. Few vegetarian options, guacamole was okay. I would not recommend, but it’s fine if you are hard-pressed for Mexican food.

Waaaay too much salt. Tasted like most of the ingredients came from a can. Decent rice, but horrible guacamole. You can do better cooking at home. Customer service was excellent though. I gave it two stars because of the music and kind staff, but the food deserves one.

Margaritas and pupussas on point. Happy hour 4 – 7 every day. 4 $ Margis. Good stuff. They are located in a run down strip mall which I imagine makes it hard to get traffic but I enjoyed my experience and will return if for nothing else the margarita and pupussa.

Excellent! I am not a fan of Mexican food, so friends invited me to join them there and said they have excellent salmon and steak. Well, I actually had the soft tacos, and they were perfect. The restaurant is not one I’ve ever noticed, so I was pleasantly surprised. The décor is pretty and clean, white table cloths, cloth napkins. Our waiter was very sweet and service was great. I will definitely be back with family and friends.

Very good! I live just around the corner so I decided to check it out for the first time last night. Margaritas were good and strong(and only $ 5!). I got two and I was pretty damn tipsy. The chips and salsa were good — the salsa was kind of a thick purée — not chunky — but it had a nice chipotle flavor. I got shrimp fajitas and asked for double onions no peppers and they accommodated my request without hesitation. The fajitas were delicious. I was one of two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. I don’t know why this place doesn’t get more crowded, it’s definitely a hidden gem. Next time I come back I’m bringing friends!

This is my go to spot for pupusas. I usually alternate between the pupusas and plato la union(scrambled eggs with tomatoes and onions, avocado slices, chorizo, plantains with crema, and beans and rice). I am a regular here and we usually get great service.

Went on cinco de mayo because it is close to my Place & they had $ 5 Margs! The guacamole was amazing and I also had the steak taco salad. Both very good. Steak was a tiny bit over cooked for my personal preference but I still ate it all so obviously it wasn’t bad. The service was good and the people were really nice! Nothing too out of the ordinary that’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars but it definitely wasn’t bad… I would go back!

Walked by while my vehicle was being serviced. Nachos were huge and less than $ 10. Chicken and beef was plentiful. Not bad although I could do without the awful soundtrack while was too loud to count as background noise. Definitely worth a try.

My best friend and I decided to take a chance on this restaurant after stopping at Dunkin’ Donuts, it was a great decision! We nearly exploded because we ate everything on our Chicken Chimichanga plate. This place gives me life.

Pleasantly surprised. I walked in with very low expectations, and left happy… and tipsy. I ordered the combination fajitas, which I enjoyed. I wish they asked how I wanted my steak prepared(since it came out well done). That would be my only complaint along with the watery salsa that they give you. Other than that, the margarita was on point. I would definitely return. 3.5 Stars!

I came here for the first time tonight, after passing by many times on my way to the sushi or phở spot next door, stereotypically, for Cinco de Mayo(which, incidentally, has absolutely NOTHING to do w/drinking). I walk in… no music. Ok. Perhaps they’re quietly rebelling against the American stereotype of a crazy, alcohol-filled, May 5th. My waitress was very friendly. Now, lets get down to the nitty gritty: Mango Margarita: Ummm… well…it was a margarita, I guess, but I failed to taste the mango. I tasted something in it that I wasn’t quite sure what it might be. It was alright, but not the best I’ve had — not even close : —( Plantains and sour cream: tasty and very nicely complimented w/the sour cream. Shrimp quesadilla: THETRUTH! Omg, absolutely, hands-down, the BEST quesadilla I’ve ever had. Yes. Deliciously cheesy, the shrimp was plump, smokey and flavorful. I read the reviews and most raved about the shrimp quesadilla, they were not lying. Come for the down-home atmosphere, stay for the shrimp quesadilla! BTW, the reason why im not giving 4+ stars is b/c — how the h*ll is a latin restaurant gonna make a so-so margarita?! Unacceptable, I say!

My husband and I were very excited to try this place, but ended up rather disappointed. The service is friendly, but not attentive. The food is fine, but not memorable. After trying this place once, we feel no need to return.

We sort of felt like we were walking into a Latin family’s 1980 living room with the blues, mauve and gray. The place is much larger than it looks from the outside. The have some great latin music playing but at times between that and the incredibly loud gaggle of women at the table next to us it was a little hard to hear. The salsa was very watery and little flavor. My lime margarita was served with a lemon… odd. and was a little heavy on the sour mix. Not the best I’ve ever had by far. My husband ordered queso and I had the platanos as appetizers. My platanos came out first. It was the slowest queso delivery time I have ever had at a latin/mexican restaurant. Isn’t that the one thing they always have ready to go in like 60 seconds! The platanos were cooked pretty well, a little dense, but served exactly the way I love them, with sour cream. My main dish was the spinach enchilada and my husbands steak and shrimp. The main entrees were the main redeeming quality for this place. Both dishes were extremely flavorful Service overall while pleasant, very slow. It wouldn’t be my first choice for latin food in the area.

Lunch time is good to have some fresh Mexican salvadorian food. Carnitas and fajitas are fresh every day. Kids meal ate not bad for the price, and kids love quesadillas with sour cream and guacamole. Well done.

No frills, but good solid food. Greens were fresh and the chimichanga was well done. No microwave food here.

Looks like the hole-in-the-wall type of eatery that is going to be amazing… but it is only OK. The pupusas(both cheese & pork) were super greasy. The tacos were OK, not quite as authentic or flavorful as others I’ve had. Chicken was a little mushy, and sauce was not served with the tacos. Décor is basic, and the bar is not fully stocked, but there is enough of a selection you should be able to find something you like. They are open late, and have karoake on the weekends.
