History

Established in 2006.

Founded in 2006 by Eli Erickson in Geneseo, Illinois, Expert Window Cleaning And Services recently expanded its reach from the Quad Cities area of Illinois/​Iowa into the Washington, D.C. metro area with the able assistance of Erickson’s cousin Tom Raschke, a fellow Geneseo native and 15-​year resident of Alexandria, Virginia. But the expansion to a big city has by no means changed the company’s individualized, timely approach to every job. Expert treats each customer’s home or business as if it were their own, removing shoes when entering, covering surfaces with canvas to guard against accidental spills, and using environmentally friendly soap. Business Owner

A 15-​year veteran of the window cleaning industry, Eli Erickson started his own business in the Quad Cities in 2006 out of not only a desire to be his own boss, but also to meet new people — which carries over into the company’s one-​on-​one approach to its services. When not providing reflection perfection, Erickson enjoys guitar, jet skiing, barbecuing and airplanes.

Erickson’s technical know-​how was recently complemented by Tom Raschke, whose knack for marketing, finances and web design helped the company expand into the northern Virginia, Maryland and District of Columbia nexus that comprises the D.C. metro area. Raschke’s leisure time is spent golfing, riding his sparkling chrome Harley Davidson, or running along the Mount Vernon trail.
