I found this place while researching for home theater installation companies. Their website looks really nice and super easy to navigate, the prices were reasonable. So I decided to request a complimentary estimate. The technician came to my home on time, and proceeded to give me his estimate and personal suggestions about whether the equipment I had purchased was all compatible, when I had done my diligent research and knew every single piece of equipment was compatible. However, I reviewed the estimate and although a little pricey after adding drywall repair I proceeded to make an installation appointment.
The day of the installation the technician arrived late, although, I must say I was notified about the delay. Finally the technician arrives and proceeds to cover all of my belongings and to remove my old TV from the wall, after removing the old TV which took about 5 minutes he tells me that he’s going to his truck, so I figured he was just going to get some additional tools. Thirty minutes later he’s nowhere to be found, after an hour I called his company and complained about the technician disappearing. The Marketing Manager (Maxine) tells me that she will immediately contact him to see what’s going on, After a few minutes I get a call back from Maxine stating that the technician had stepped out to lunch, which he never notified me of, and that he will be back at my place within 20 minutes and if he didn’t show up she will personally reprimand him. Well, an hour later (now 2 hours have passed since he left) he still hasn’t shown up, so I called Maxine again to complain, and assures me that I will get the install at a substantial discount and she will schedule another team to perform the install. After I hang up the phone I decided to e-​mail Maxine to completely cancel the install.
I notified Maxine that I didn’t want the technician coming back to my house to pick up his tools, that she should get someone else to come pick me up at my convenience. I asked him why he disappeared for over 4 hours and he stated that he had gone to lunch and that he was waiting for his co-​worker to finish another job so that he could come to my home to help him which i knew was a huge lie. Apparently, Maxine didn’t communicate with the technician as she promised she would, because he appeared at my door four hours after he «supposedly» went to his truck, therefore, I denied him entrance to my home and suggested he should call his management about retrieving his tools. Later that evening I get a call from Maxine profusely apologizing for the bad business practice by the technician and giving me an excuse of why the technician left my home initially. Her reason was that the technician had gone to the store to pick up additional materials to put up my TV, a huge lie because I had all the materials he needed to install my TV and he had already given me «his excuse» for disappearing. Maxine also stated that I would get $ 75 off my install, which I thought was an insult to me after all the inconvenience they had put me through. I told her to cancel my installation order because obviously they’re a very unreliable company and very unprofessional. Then she had the nerves to ask me for $ 99 for the dismount of my old TV, which was never quoted in the estimate, I said they will not see a penny from me. The next day Maxine came to my home to pick up the tools the technician had left behind and proceeded to ask for permission to take pictures of whatever work the technician had completed, which I replied negatively. There was nothing to take pictures of because no work was performed and I had to clean up my place from the mess the technician left and I had to reinstall my old TV.
Obviously, this company doesn’t take their job seriously, are very unprofessional, the management obviously does not care about the customers. I will never do business with them and I will never recommend them. I have found another company to perform the full installation at a lower price, are very professional and attentive to the customer.
