Specialties
Homemade Lebanese cuisine with recipes handed down from generation to generation. Ingredients are fresh and free of preservatives. If you are familiar with Lebanese cuisine, you know that preparation is time consuming and labor-intensive. Here at Layla’s, every dish is made with love, and from scratch– no shortcuts. Layla’s specializes in mezze, kabobs, and the best kibbeh in the Greater D.C. area.
History
Established in 2006.
After years of hosting fabulous dinner parties, Mathil Chebat, a chef, and stay-at-home mother of eight, decided to share recipes passed down from her own grandmother with those who appreciate Lebanese cuisine. The idea of a restaurant was born. Layla’s is family-owned and operated and they strive to give you that cozy, intimate, dining at home experience.
