This was our first pizza experience in Virginia, and it was awesome! We immediately knew we would have a new«go to» place for our pizza cravings! We started with the garlic bread, which was fantastically delicious but it has got to be terrible for the arteries. My husband had the Meat-Lovers Calzone, which was a huge calzone for the price and had a delicious crust and gooey cheese inside. Yum. I has the Ledo Stromboli, which was above & beyond what I was expecting(something resembling a hot pocket of sorts). Not to mention the Ledo sauce it came with, and props for the seriously flaky and delicious crust! The service was good, our waiter(who was actually the bartender, I was sort of confused) was attentive to whatever we needed. Great prices. Huge portions of food. Good service. Delicious food.

They lost me as a customer tonight because I was put on hold for 3 minutes. I called back later and they put me on hold again. For another 3 minutes. That might not seem like a long time but it is when you’re waiting on the phone. They did not sound apologetic either when I let them know that I’ve been on hold for too long.

My first pizza experience in this area since moving from the NY/NJ area. The dough and sauce had no flavor at all. It was cooked well but no flavor. It tasted similar to a microwave pizza but unfortunately more expensive. All that left was the cheese and that was bland. I hope their specialty pizzas area better.

Let me preface this with the fact that I used to adore this place. That being said, their recently revamped menu prioritizes complex-sounding pizzas and other dishes over old favorites, their service was extremely slow, and they tried to overcharge me(I ordered a standalone sub vs. a combo, and then asked for a side portion of fancier fries, but was charged for a sub combo AND the full appetizer fry price until I argued with them). My change was also totally wrong. The server was kind, but sort of had no idea what was happening. The food was still great, but the service and customer focus(i.e. they wouldn’t make a margherita pizza, period, even though everything that it takes to make one is in their kitchen and available under the custom pizza option) somehow went down the tubes. I just want my old Ledo back =/It’s too expensive for every order to have to be a compromise and the dining experience to be an experiment in how bad the customer service can get.

This has become my go-to neighborhood spot for a great gluten-free crust, it totally satisfies my pizza cravings. Friendly staff, good prices. I’ve only gotten takeout but I plan to dine at some point. I’m always very happy with the pizza and the service.

I ordered Ledo’s yesterday evening. Ordering process-I have ordered from here several times and if you have too many edits to your order(yes, that’s me) then they will not get it right. So, I kept it simple this time and only had to repeat my order two times in order for the girl placing my order to understand. Food-The pizza was hot and yummy. Sadly, when you order half and half, it is more like 60/40, if there are 5 columns, three will be pepperoni and two will be just cheese. I wish they would do a true half and half, two and half columns should be pepperoni and two and half should be cheese. I joked to my fiancée that his side salad looked like a salad from McDonalds, in addition, he had no croutons. Not cool. Otherwise, everything was really good. Pick-up– We were told on the phone that our food would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. In actuality, it took 35 minutes. Will we come back? Yes. But, each time we go back we learn how to order and how long to wait in order to limit any possible frustrations.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Ledo’s… the restaurant is clean, the food is prepared in a very timely manner and is super delicious and all of the staff is really helpful. I had their pizza for the first time at a PTA meeting at my son’s school. Not wanting to look like a greedy pig, I held myself back from eating a while pizza. Wow! Yum! Sitting down in the restaurant was just as amazing. The manager(I think) came over and made sure everything was good… always nice to see management, well, managing. The Buffalo Cheese Fries were really good. We all got calzones, all freakin’ delicious! Ordering online makes it so simple to make last minute dinner or lunch plans on the go. While picking up my carry out order today I wanted to try the Red Velvet cake but they were still thawing:(however, the manager did come out and apologize and it just gave me an excuse to try the Oreo dessert instead. I’ll be back for the Red Velvet another day!

What a difference one person and a few weeks will make. I’m not sure what’s happening with this place but the service I had last night was beyond terrible. Food is always yummy, so that’s not part of this review. My husband and I have been trivia regulars for almost a year now. Adam, the trivia master, has become a friend and Matt, the bartender who recently left, was our favorite bartender ever. Matt is certainly eccentric, but he was great at his job. Remembered what you drank last time you were there and brought you one within a few seconds of you being there. Kept waters and drinks full constantly and never messed up an order. Now, last night. There appeared to be 4 people and 2 managers at Ledo’s last night doing the job that Matt used to do. Yet, it was a complete disaster. — My sandwich was not as I ordered it. Asked for no tomato. There was tomato. Picked it off. No big deal. — Friend showed up and was not asked whether he wanted a drink for 25 minutes. It honestly seemed like he was invisible. Also, he was then never asked if he wanted a refill and was never asked if he wanted to order food. He literally got one drink in the hour we were there. — Husband’s sandwich showed up wrong too. Multiple things on it that he asked for it without. — No one came back. Waters were empty, no drinks were refilled. — People at TWO tables nearby bussed their own tables and put their plates on the bar. People were ordering drinks at the bar instead of from waiters. — We had to go up to the bar to ask for a check which then took at least 10 minutes. Now, Ledo’s did not look understaffed(as I noted there were TWO managers and FOUR servers in the bar area) but it was a complete debacle. One manager didn’t seem to do anything but watch TV and look at his phone and the other came up, made a joke about being bald, and then disappeared for the rest of the night. That second manager also didn’t ask our friend if he wanted any more drinks or food. Anyway, we got up and left half way through trivia, which we’ve never done before. We don’t intend to go back, which is really sad because we’ve loved trivia there and have spent Thursdays there for almost a year. {Edit: I forgot. There was a mirror that was written on and decorated for V-day that said«Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m using my hand, but I’m thinking of you» which is incredibly inappropriate for a business.}

This place has some of the best pizzas I’ve had in the area. Yes, the serving is a little slow but it is definitely worth the wait. Their pizzas are fresh and delicious. Loved the place, highly recommended.

I stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon looking for a slice of pizza. The person at the cash register told me pizza at this location is not sold this way. No problem here. A small pizza was recommended to me instead, which I ended up ordering. I got the order for takeaway. The pizza came out hot enough and the order was correct. No issues there. However, the pizza tasted like a grocery store frozen pizza– I actually wondered if it was. It was also one of the blandest pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! Honestly, I can’t think of any reason to return here– or to visit in the first place.

Out of all the Ledo pizza restaurants that I have been to, this one is by far the best! The manager was so helpful and very pleasant. The order was missing a topping I requested, but it was not a big deal. Without hesitation the manager apologized and fixed it. I was so impressed and will be a loyal client from now on. I live closer to the Ledo’s pizza in Rt. 1 — but they have horrible service and when I called them about a huge mistake they made, they did not care and told me I gave them the wrong order(half my pizza was plain, which was not what I said at all.) This time it was simple and delicious! thanks to their crew :)

Ughhh, Kingstowne Ledo’s! Why do you have such terrible service always? I’ve come here a few times, and it’s so frustrating. Whether it’s dinner on a weeknight or lunch on a weekend, or inside or outside dining, the service definitely needs to be improved. I’ve come here on Thursday for trivia, and oh boy, the service was downright despicable. Drinks take forever to come out, pizza is slow to arrive, and plates and silverware are nowhere to be found for several minutes. It’s just obnoxious. To top it all off, it takes forever to get the bill, and forever to get the bill picked up with a credit card. So long in fact, that I’ve even walked up to the bar and asked for the card to be run, and it STILL took 10 minutes just to get it back. I mean, come on! Why is that so hard? Even apologies aren’t enough to make me feel better. Also, on trivia nights, it’s sad that there are no drink specials. The Falls Church location has them all evening long. I wish this idea was standardized among VA locations. Bottom line: I really don’t anticipate coming back here willingly because everything takes so unbelievably long(even if the restaurant isn’t full). The pizza is fine, but it’s not worth the agonizingly-long waits. This location is just annoying, and I’d be embarrassed to bring anyone here.

I LOVE this place! I have now found my favorite pizza place in the DMV. We sat at the bar and got excellent service. Even when they messed up our pizza, they fixed the mistake quickly and professionally. Keep up the good work y’all! Love the Italian Lady!

2nd visit– Flavor still good but my husband had to pour the grease off of his meat lovers pizza. In Fact one of the servers(not ours) helped us hold the pizza to drain the grease. We didn’t complain… to our server. My Hotlanta needed about two more minutes in the oven had to eat it with a fork. If a manager would have stopped by the table we would have said something… But they didn’t. One more chance Ledo’s.

First timer! Ledo Pizza was actually not entirely that bad… for a person coming from New Jersey, I would have to say the pizza places I have gone to were better than this place. Haven’t tried other pizza places but this was alright for late night snacks. We ordered their special pizza with meatballs. They had 3 different sizes. There was 3 of us in this party and we opted for a spinach salad w/their house dressing, which I have to say was Deeeeelish! It was great to share. We thought the medium sized pizza for 2 was a perfect size but it was actually too much! We only finished half. I guess the half meat ball that was cut into half and the pie(rectangular sized) was cut into small squared pieces. The dough wasn’t as well as I thought it’d be cooked but I love my crust baked well. Other than that, try it! The pizza could be better. It’s great for families or if you want to watch sports /games. They also have a Bar on the left side once you walk in. We left with a check of under $ 30. Not bad!

I ordered the basil, olive, tomato, and goat cheese pizza. I wish I had not. How this place received its acclaim baffles me. The dough was not cooked thoroughly and summoned the question as to what caused the cooking staff’s inebriated state. It would be better had they burned the pizza or simply sloshed tomato sauce on a cardboard box. The aluminum taste lingered in the tomato sauce from which it most definitely came and overpowered the other ingredients. Its tragic companions, the basil, olives, and cherry tomatoes, were wasted on this pizza and would taste better on an english muffin. I’ve never had pizza this bad, and wish I ordered Papa John’s instead. Even with the self-hatred and diarrhea that results from ordering Papa John’s, at least I wouldn’t have to throw away half a pizza. Not even beer helped wash this down, and I wouldn’t even eat this pizza if I was drunk. More still, it would probably taste better coming up than it did going down. Just don’t. We did serve the pizza with an arugula salad. That was nice.

Since they closed the Lorton location, I had been anxious for this location to open. They really did a nice job on this place. I ordered a white pizza for carry-out but took a walk around to see the large screen TVs at the bar. What a great place to watch the game! There are even nice iron tables outside to enjoy a meal in the nicer weather. The restaurant was extremely clean and my cashier had me in and out in no time. I’ll write a better review after dining here one day soon.

WOW! Some amazing pizza here. I stopped in with average expectations, but I was immediately won over by Ledo’s block of pizza goodness. That’s right, Pizza Fans, the Ledo’s pie comes out in a squarish block don;t be frightened, for in its four corners lies pizza nirvana. Now, this pizza bliss is hard to describe, but I will give it a try. First the sauce is tangy, but also slightly sweet, so much so that you feel like you’ve been let in on some family secret recipe. I just hope Ledo’s didn’t steal its recipe from some Italian grandmother with connections; I’d hate to think of the interruption of yummy pizza that would ensue if these guys were forced to go to the mattresses while a pizza war waged on, So while there is still peace between the five pizza families, I’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse .and that is Ledo Pizza’s creamy cheese topping and crust… That’s right, Pizza Fans, I said creamy, a word that one usually doesn’t associate with pizza, but like fine chocolate this pizza virtually melts in your mouth. Although I only had takeout, their restaurant seems quite charming, boasting an inviting bar and quaint seating on either side of kitchen. The also have ample outdoor seating, something which is very pleasant on a Fall afternoon All and all, I’d have to say that Ledo Pizza is a welcome addition to Kingstowne’s dinning scene.
