Mom Made Foods are convenient wholesome meals/​munchies/​bites that uses organic ingredients, no antibiotics, and a packed full of veggies! Items such as the Chicken Munchie (chicken, beans, rice, and cheese in a crust), Spaghetti with Turkey Meatballs and Sauce, Cheesy Mac (with organic butternut squash, organic sweet potato, and organic green peas), and Chicken & Apple Meatball Bites are some products that they offer. My favorite is the Cheese Pizza Munchie — an organic whole grain crust, filled with organic sweet potato, organic butternut squash, organic cauliflower, organic cheese, and an organic sauce! You can either heat it up in the oven or in the microwave, but I highly suggest in you baking it in the oven or the toaster oven, as the crust will be more crispy. It really doesn’t look like the picture on the box (as the picture shown makes it look jam-​packed with cheese and sauce), as the actual pocket is more flat and looks more like a ravioli. However, aside from that, the filling is super delicious and fresh, and really tasty! I love that this is a local Alexandria business, and you can find these items at your local grocery store (just check out their website to see which store is closest to you)!
