A good place to buy if you’re in need of quality furniture at good prices. The staff is helpful and answers all questions. They are willing to bargain with you as well. The management is patient and will listen to your questions. Be sure to pin them down on delivery schedules if you have any special requirements, or if you need the items in a hurry. We ended up picking up our furniture and it worked out fine, with some coordination with the management. They were very friendly and helpful through this process, but they are trying to manage a delivery system that is outdated and apparently gives them bad information.

Based on the reviews here, apparently you are lucky if you bought something from here that met your expectations. I bought a sectional couch and few corner tables from this location two years ago. Everything looked perfect in store display, so we decided to make our purchase totaling almost $ 2,000. The furniture were delivered 3 hours behind schedule, it became completely dark when they arrived. We found one of the corner table was broken, so we rejected it right away, but accepted the rest of the delivery as they looked fine. However, the second day morning when we looked at the couch, it was full of tears in the back, and all stitches around the corners are not even, there are bumps all over the surface of the arm rest. Apparently they gave us the furniture with defects and sent them to us at night on purpose. However, it was too late to reject and we didn’t want rent a truck and send them back. Please please read all comments here, and be carefully with your decisions. If you still think the prices here are attractive enough, please inspect your furniture well upon delivery. Also, the sales person look like they don’t really care if you are happy here or not, even before you make any purchases. Apparently they believe their prices are unbeatable, as everything is shitty in their warehouses(they don’t tell you this of course). Even after two years, when I recall my purchase experience, I am still not happy. That’s why I came back today to leave a review. I would never come back to this place and buy anything.

Bought a couch and accent chair from this store and had a great experience. They were the brand name that we chose and for several hundreds less than at the Ashley Furniture store. Chose the option to pick up rather than have delivery and it was there on time and there was a nice guy there to help load it into our truck. I can’t attest to their delivery services, but for pick ups, their service was great(although they did keep trying to sell us more stuff) and they sold us quality furniture.

This place is a ripe off! We bought some couches. when it come down to the day of delivery they called saying they didn’t have them in stock. I don’t know why they even they called to schedule a delivery if they didn’t have them in stock. when we went to look at other couches the guy was trying to make is pay delivery again! I don’t know how they have a business. We just got our money back. Plus the girl at the desk is super rude n has no manners.

DONOTBUYFURNITUREATTHISSTORE! I ordered furniture on Oct 8th, and I was told it would take two to four weeks to deliver. I didn’t like the delay, but I understood that one item was on backorder. Four weeks came and went, and no one from the store contacted me to let me know that there would be an additional delay. I made phone calls to the Alexandria store(where I bought my furniture), and no one answered the phone half of the time. When I did get a chance to speak to someone, I got an unsatisfactory excuse. Fast forward to today when my furniture was FINALLY delivered. The only problem was that I didn’t receive everything I ordered!!! Apparently my sofa bed is not in stock. No one bothered to tell me this either. Of course I’m going to get my money back, but that requires me to take time out of my schedule to drive to the store which isn’t as close as it used to be since I moved. I am EXTREMELYUNHAPPY with my Overstock Furniture experience, and I would not recommend this company to anyone. This has been some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It’s just not worth it.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. These people are professional SCAM artists. I went into their store on Saturday 7⁄21 and ordered a futon, guaranteed it would be delivered on Sunday the 29th(a week’s time). I was called on the 23rd, 24th, 26th and 28th to confirm my purchase and delivery. Perfect. Then the day beforedelivery, on the 28th, after i had cancelled all my weekend plans to receive my futon, I get a call at 7PM and left with a voicemailwhere they just said«oh hey, we don’t have your futon on the inventory.» Ok no problem. So I call back the next day, I’m cool. Ask them how long I will have to wait to have it delivered, they say 6(f****ing) weeks!!! AREYOU F***ing kidding me??? And that I will need to pay the delivery charges again! WTF. OK. I try to speak to the administrative perosn over the phone, she hungs up on me, twice, yes, TWICE. I call again and ask to speak to manager since the poor girl probably has no idea how to do anything. The manager is the most irresponsible, rude, and downright despicable person I ever had the bad luck of speaking with. He treats his customers like s#it. I tried explaining to him tht I am a student, just moved into the area, have a very limited income, and am basically sleeping on the floor because I don’t have a bed and spent a significantamoutn of my limited funds on this furniture. he just said, «I don’t caere, that’s not my problem.» I have NEVER, NEVER, NEVEERRR been do badly treated as a customer. Never been so belittled as a person. Never been so badly humiliated. I also did a bit of research as this business only had one review on Unilocal,all other reviews of this store, on google, are HORRYFYING. THEYRIPPEOPLEOFFHARDCORE by doing this type of thing to a lot of people, and when people cancel their order, like I did, they keep a charge of 30%!!! I’m all about trying to help mom and pop shops, but I’m cancelling my order and buying my furniturewith a larger corporation. This was one of the most horrible experiences I have ever had buying anything, ever. THIEVES!

I recently purchased a king bedroom set from Overstock and I had a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous at all times. I even returned to the store with a small delivery issue and the store manager was willing to accommodate my requests as well as deliver the item I wanted to purchase. I would definitely buy from them again. I read many reviews before deciding to purchase from Overstock and I’m not regretting my choice. I didn’t have to wait more than a few days for my delivery. The delivery guys were professional and neat. They arrived within the delivery time-frame and promptly went to work assembling my furniture. They even helped us move the television.

I recently bought my home and money has been tight but I needed bedroom furniture cheap. I got a good queen size storage bed and dresser for about $ 1100 including delivery and taxes. The deliverers came and built up the bed and dresser for me. I would go again if I needed to furnish a guest room or cost was a consideration.
