TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I made an appt with them for a massage but after talking to the person on the phone I changed my mind and called them back to cancel! Many calls and nobody picked up the phone and I couldn’t leave a voicemail cuz their voice mail is full! I finally got hold of them and the lady on the phone was very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. They even sent a text message which I’ll attach! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL BUSINESS WHO TALK TO PAYING CUSTOMERS like they talked to me!!!

I received Botox from Diane. I picked them for their low price and their ‘good reviews’. It was my first time. It didn’t work. Literally, no change. I tried contacting her at the phone number listed and the vm was full. I emailed the email listed on their website-​the email was returned as non deliverable. I emailed another email I found on another site-​that was also returned. I kept calling and calling. No response. One day, I got a text from a random number saying ‘busy, in a meeting’. When I asked who was texting me, I learned it was Diane and that was the proper number to call. So, finally I set up an appointment to come in and get a ‘touch up’. When I got there, she wasn’t there. No one was. The door was locked. After 45 minutes, she finally arrived. I was given more Botox and charged an additional $ 90. It still didn’t work! NO CHANGE! I tried calling again and got no response. I messaged their Facebook page. I finally disputed the additional charge with my credit card company because I viewed this service as FRAUD. Posh never even responded to the credit card company! The real kicker is, a couple of weeks ago, they finally wrote me back on Facebook asking how they could help. Over six months later! I’ve since had Botox from another professional spa and it worked. And the price was less than the combined price Diane conned me out of and I learned I needed less units than what Diane recommended for my original treatment.
Learned my lesson!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I wish I could deduct stars from this place. I am taking time out of my Friday to write this review because of how appalled I am of the customer service I just received.
PAID for a massage. Called to schedule and was left a message confirming my appointment. Called again today (week later) to see if there was a possibility to move it around (which I totally understand if they couldn’t). The woman on the phone pretty much berated me. She told me I wasn’t even on the schedule, offered a snarky half-​apology and didn’t do a thing about it. She was probably the rudest human being I have ever spoken to. I continues to keep my cool and she continued to become more aggressive.
For a «Spa» this place should be ashamed of themselves. I will tell everyone I know to stay away and I suggest you do the same.
Pitiful.

Purchased two Groupons for massages for my husband and me. Called several times on a Monday to schedule, but was given the option to leave a message to a full mailbox. On a subsequent call, the line stops ringing, but never picks up. I sent an email through their contact feature on their website and never received a response. Finally made telephone contact on a Tuesday with a very confused person that was to book the appointments. After five minutes on the phone and her going back and forth, indecisive about the appointments, we resolved that my husband would have his massage on Thursday, January 14^th at 1:00 and I would have mine on Thursday, January 28^th at 6:00. Oh, and the Groupon MUST be redeemed on a smart phone because they think people are reusing them. Hello, each Groupon has a specific code to be scanned. Came to an agreement that my husband (no smart phone) could just bring in the printed certificate and I would follow up with the smart phone when I had my appointment.
So, my husband shows up on time for his appointment and they don’t have him booked. Asked if he can return at 4:30. When he said that he cannot, they asked if he can come back on Friday, but could not give him an appointment. Said they would call him to schedule. Seems very unlikely. I will be cancelling my Groupon and requesting a refund. I will try to cancel my appointment, but it is unlikely I will be able to speak to anyone.

Diane is very professional and truly cares for her clients. My skin is left glowing after a thorough cleansing, extraction and my first peel! Try the alkaline water too:)

Vicky’s services are great. She came on at the last minute and took her time. Awesome.

I love this place. I’ve been getting massages and facials from living in Charlotte, NYC, and DC for 20 years, always looking for my favorite spot and I really think Posh might be my favorite. It’s not the fanciest place or the biggest, but who cares? Diane truly cares about you and takes her time. I’ve only been a handful of times for various facial services, but I’ve never left disappointed.

I hate writing negative reviews but I really just can’t believe how bad my visit here was.
I came in for a laser hair removal session that I purchased through Groupon, and after booking my appointment last night for 11:30 today, I get a voicemail a few hours later saying that she couldn’t remember if we booked it for 10 or 10:30, but she remembers me calling to reschedule my 9am appointment. Odd, since I never had a 9am appointment in the first place. So I left a message reconfirming that it was actually 11:30, and not hearing back showed up at 11:30. Once I was there she said, «oh, I remember talking to you. We rebooked you from 9am. But it was for 11am, not 11:30.» Once again I told her that I never had a 9am appt, and she blamed her «new assistant» and took me back for my treatment.
She then left me in the treatment room for 25 minutes. She finally came back as I was getting ready to leave, and her excuse for leaving me there was that SHE FORGOT I WAS IN THERE. She told me she was just really busy that day, and was sorry, but after hearing «I forgot you were in there» I was done. Awful.

Couldn’t even get anyone to answer the phone. I called 4 times during business hours. Lost my business right away. Called Radiance Old Town, spoke to a lovely receptionist, made a same day appointment and couldn’t be happier with my results.

This place is tiny and cramped not pretty and relaxing.
Bought a groupon, made an appointment. I had to wait ½ hour because manicurist was not on time. She told me no worries the gel mani would take only a ½ hour, but it took 75 minutes and it was bad. She said to return in 2 days to fix it, so I left with a sloppy botched job.
I called twice and the owner Diane never bothered to return my call, how rude and such a poor business attitude.
Yay Groupon they listened and gave me a refund.

I am very disappointed in the experience I had with Posh Med Spa. I received Botox last October, and the results weren’t nearly comparable to what I had experienced in the past with other practitioners, despite that the amount was more or the same. I called and emailed repeatedly to simply inquire about what might be the issue or cause of the unsatisfactory results. I was courteous and open to any options, including paying more. No phone calls or emails were returned. Even when I tried to set up a new appointment. It’s just baffling. I’ve been trying to reach them since early December. I feel pretty cheated; they are very unprofessional. If the results were satisfactory, I could somewhat overlook the lack of professionalism. Perhaps other services are decent, but don’t go here for injectables. Total rip off.

Amazing service! Diane was very knowledgable and helpful. She is also very caring and gives great advice. She even gave me some Amazing Kangen Water there in which I lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks for free. She even supplied it for free to my friends.

The first few times I went here I left happy so I decided to up my usual procedure with one of their Botox and filler specials and was disappointed when I was told that they could only do a portion of the botox because they were out. Although I was somewhat satisfied with the filler I feel like I was really screwed on the botox procedure and essentially ripped off. I won’t be coming back to this place.

Update as I have been going to Posh for about 8 months now.
Catch Diane the nurse-​practitioner and owner on a good day when she is not distracted and you get fantastic results. She is kind, thorough and does an amazing, but not over the top job — especially with fillers and botox — no pain and very little bruising if any. Very, very good and worth the price.
Except when the product is «bad» (bad batches of botox seem to plague this place now and then — bad meaning doesn’t work at all!!)
Catch her on an off day, when she is more than 30 minutes late for the appointment, having family drama, distracted or just in a plain bad mood — then RUN — schedule your appointment for another day.
Also, be prepared for last minute reschedules as she works at a cosmetic surgeons office too — and will dump her appointments for extra work there.

Best lhr experience ever! Diane was very personable, professional, and kind! She took care to make sure I was comfortable and dare I say it was even enjoyable! I’ll definitely be back!

I love Posh! The location is very good, parking is easy, the place itself is nicely decorated and always clean. It is only four blocks north of King Street so visiting other establishments in Old Town is very easy.
The Posh staff is wonderful, especially Diane. She is an excellent aesthetician and very personable. Services used in the past six months include laser hair removal, facial, mani/​pedi, detox and recently a consultation with a plastic surgeon associated with Posh. All services were done much better than I expected and I must admit that I am not always that easy to please.
The spa also sells high-​end skin care products, wellness items, jewelry, gift certificates, etc. Staff have never pushed me to purchase anything, which is one of my pet peeves, and will stop me from going back to a spa or salon. I did buy some Priori sunscreen before a trip to Africa and it was excellent. My fair, freckled skin never burned.
This is a small, neighborhood spa and is a real gem. I hesitated to write a review because part of me wants to keep it a secret. However, everyone is so nice and does such great work that I knew I needed to share them with you.

Diane, a nurse practitioner and well-​spoken aesthetician, was ah-​mazing!!! My treatment was awesome and she talked through the steps and addressed my concerns. While she recommended products, she in no way pushed the purchase! Thanks!
For those addressing the size, its address IS 516 ½… really?! It is small, but is very well appointed and immaculate. There is a parking lot behind the bldg and plenty of street parking.
I’ll be back!

Massages are not worth your time!
I had a deal for this place, and let it go a little too long so I had to book my massage the last week of the deal. I called and there was no answer the entire day. I tried the next day, and the manager finally answered. She confirmed my one hour appointment for the next day and everything was good to go.
I arrived on Saturday to a tiny reception area, spoke to the receptionist and she provided the typical massage form for me to fill out. There was a man sitting down messing with his cell phone in the reception area when i arrived. He approached me before I finished my form and introduced himself as the therapist. He told me that due to scheduling conflicts he didn’t have time for a full hour and could only give me half an hour but they would schedule me for a whole hour at another time.
He took my form and didn’t even look at it and took me back to the massage room. The room was tiny and cramped with nowhere to put my bag or my clothes. I could hear everything that was going on in the hall outside the door and the therapist reeked of cigarettes. Overall, not a very soothing ambiance. The massage itself wasn’t too bad, obviously too short. I scheduled my actual one hour appointment for 24 March before I left and received an appointment card. Before I had even left, the therapist was checking himself out in the bathroom mirror and putting on his jacket. The whole appointment felt rushed and uncomfortable.
I called 24 March on my way to the spa to tell them I was running a few minutes late but I’d still be there. The receptionist said the therapist had me in his phone for the next week and that I couldn’t be seen that day. I assured her that I had an appointment card for 24 March from the receptionist and that it shouldn’t matter what the therapist had in his phone. I told her I was disappointed in how unprofessional and disorganized their business is and to cancel whatever appointment that had me down for.. I’m no customer service expert, but I’m pretty sure the customer should be scheduled when it is convenient for them, not when it is convenient for the therapist. I then asked to speak to the manager, who, of course, was unavailable
Overall bad experience.

Posh has everything I look for in a Spa experience that so many places overlook. The details that stood out include the peaceful colors and interior design details that emanate quality. The music in the room was meditative and calming. The ceiling, often overlooked but in the view of anyone getting a facial, was clean and well maintained.
Bernadette has a gift for knowing what the skin needs and fingers that give the best facial ever! I agree with the comment about the best eyebrows ever as well! She recommended tinting my eyebrows and I am so glad I took this advice!
Also, I do not usually buy products but having just moved back to the DC area, she figured out that my skin problems are due to the change in climate. The cleanser/​moisturizer I reluctantly bought is working great to keep my skin spa-​wonderful days after an intense treatment. Look forward to continuing treatments with Bernadette and the others in Posh.
