Really nice facility. Reasonable rates and very friendly staff. Much nicer inside than it looks from the curb. My puppy is well taken care of when she’s boarded and has fun on the days she’s in day-​camp. Prompt checkin and checkout. Highly recommend.

We really like Reserved Barking, and have used daycare many times this summer for our two little terriers. The employees are delightful and seem to really enjoy their jobs. I also love the fact that the staff doesn’t turn over… our dogs are slow to warm up to new people, and so it makes drop-​off easier when the dogs are used to seeing the same people.

This place is warm and welcoming to all size dogs. My Iggy loves coming here and the love is mutual. Convenient for drop off and pick up. I don’t have to worry about Jack dropping weight here as he has at other locations. Bog thumbs up!

One of those… if zero stars were possible. I have a one year old great dane. He’s friendly and sweet. Never has had an issues in a dog park or with any other dogs.
I have taken him to Reserved Barking multiple times. He’s been to a few other day cares too and never had any issues. Reserved Barking allows dogs that are not yet fixed, and I have been waiting for adulthood to neuter my dog.
As another reviewer noted, they do not offer tours or have cameras. Like almost 100% of other day cares in their price range.
My dog has been bit by dogs on multiple occasions at Reserved Barking. I am not obsessive, I understand that they are dogs and things happen. But. its the often shady and elusive response from the owner and staff that is most disconcerting. Most recently, my dog had puncture woulds on his face, neck, front legs, scratches all over his stomach, ribs, and hind legs. It looks like a dog had an hour to beat him up without intervention. There was very limited detail as to what took place and I was told that he «challenged the alpha dog and this is what happens».
The front desk said they would follow up. I even texted and called the owner AND sent photos expressing concerns, with NO response.
Not the first time I have questioned the supervision. A few times my dog has had an upset stomach after a day at Reserved Barking. I asked the staff if there was any chance he could have eaten anything odd, the response? «I don’t know, he’s tall, maybe leaves?» What? For real?
I also provide food and ask that they return any uneaten portion (feeding a great dane is expensive!) 99% of the time they could not tell me if my dog ate any of the food, and they had no idea if anything was left over or even consumed. They would often laugh about the fact that they never knew the answer.
The overall lackadaisical approach to caring for multiple dogs is inappropriate. While the ladies at the front desk are super friendly and nice, that doesn’t equal effective or safe day care. For almost $ 40 bucks a day, I think you should be able to expect the above things to not happen regularly.
With so many amazing day care options in the area PLEASE do yourself (and your dog!!) a favor by not going to Reserved Barking.

I took our lab mix to RB for daycare a few months ago. While the staff is nice enough, the entire entryway smells like animal urine… I can only imagine what it smells like in back.
When we arrived for his first time at daycare, they did not offer a tour and did not have cameras where you could see the dogs playing. I had a weird vibe but let my dog stay for daycare anyway, as I was going to be gone all day. When he came home, he was filthy and covered in some kind of dust or dirt.
I will not be returning and would NOT recommend. The only good thing they have going is their online booking system.

I can only write my review for their grooming services since one of my dogs can’t seem to play nice, and failed her assessment. Ugh no doggy daycare for her or boarding. I’ve used theirs services a few times (like once a month) since moving to the area, and each time I’ve had zero issues with their timeliness and drop off/​pick up. My dogs came out clean, appeared to have been brushed, and overall didn’t seem to mind getting their dreaded baths. The place is also military friendly which is always a plus. The staff is friendly and the owner is quite involved. Not sure where the harsh reviews are coming from but I’ll definitely will continue to bring my girls over for their monthly pro-​bath.

I’ve been using Reserved Barking to board my dog several times a year for the past three years. I have had nothing but positive experiences. The arrangement where the dogs have doggie day care during the day and then board overnight has been just right for my dog. She used to board at the vet and would come home stressed out and unhappy. When she comes home from Reserved Barking she is tired but happy. When I drop her off she runs to the door and greets the handlers. That never happened with any other place I’ve boarded her. She is a small, older dog but I have never had an issue with her interacting with the larger dogs. I’ve used the grooming (bath and nail trimming) services several times and they have always been done well, although she is short hair/​low maintenance.
The front desk has always been helpful with questions and making reservations, and will offer a package price when applicable. Pick up and drop off is much faster than it used to be now that they have expanded their space, and they store the pet supplies for each animal separately. I have always get back everything I brought in, which isn’t my experience at other places. I do wish they had longer pickup/​drop off hours on the weekends, but that is really my only complaint.

I wish I could give this place ZERO STAR. Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. I was new to the area and had no one to look after my dog. I thought this would be a good place to leave my dog for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, while I was away I received a phone call stating my dog was attacked. Not by one but TWO DOGS. If they were really doing their job, how can it be two attacks? One attack maybe excusable because dogs are dogs after all. But TWO? Needless to say, my dog came home with staples on both sides of her face. And of top of that, they still charged me $ 1000 for boarding my dog. Even if they didn’t do their part of the bargain— TAKE CARE OF MY DOG.
If you are desperate… Drive that extra mile or so and go somewhere else… Cause obviously, I’m not the only one writing a bad review about this horrible place.

We keep going here only because there aren’t any other places reasonably close. We’ve taken our dog there 3 times for grooming, now, and each time we have had to wait exorbitant amounts of time for her to be ready. Today, for example, we dropped her off at 9:30 and had been told when we made the appointment that she would be ready at 11:30. 11:30 comes and they then say 1:30. 1:30 comes and they say 2:30. She’s finally ready at 3. Meanwhile, I had scheduled all my meetings for the afternoon so I had to cancel a bunch of stuff at work to pick her up.
The worst time, however, was the time before, when we had her groomed on a Saturday. Again we dropped her off early (9am) but said that we were home all day, so no rush. At 4:45 (they close at 5) I called to see what was up, and they said she’d be ready in a few minutes. So I went over with my 2 year old to get her. I waited there for 45 minutes, with a 2 year old. The receptionist left at 5:10 so we were just sitting there alone with no one to give us updates. When the groomer came out, he said that he had only just started her at 4:45 — so the receptionist lied? Or the groomer did at some point? Unclear — but also unacceptable.
Again, it’s a pity that there aren’t any other places nearby. But the way things are going it might just be better to go to a place farther away.

I have used the grooming services 2 times now, for 2 different dogs. The first was my cocker spaniel. They did a great job grooming him to my specification rather than the normal cocker cut. I was pleased with the length, the shape, everything. Then I returned with a rescue cocker with a few health problems. They took great care of her! she came out looking like a new dog! Again, not a typical cocker cut as she didnt have enough hair for that. So I cannot judge their ability to do a standard cut. But man o man this groomer took the time to speak with me prior to the appt. He had this pup sparkling clean and ready for an adoption event! So far, I am very pleased with their grooming department.

My dog Stormageddon (Stormy for short) just had his first grooming appointment at Reserved Barking. The groomer did a phenomenal job! The staff members we encountered were incredibly friendly and, again, I can’t say anything but positive things about Stormy’s groomer. This will definitely be where Stormy is groomed from now on. I usually take my dog to Pets Supplies Plus for bathing but decided to try this place out to get his hair cut. I took my dog there for a cut and had discussed exactly what I wanted with the groomer. I pointed out to the groomer that he had a few mats by his legs because he’s a wiggly pup by the time we get to that area. He agreed and told me my dog would be ready by 4:30−5. I then confirmed my number (it was incorrect when they read it back to me while I was there so I gave them the correct number-​twice!), Fine. Then I get a voice mail on my home phone that my dog would be done at 5:30. Ok. I get there at 5:30 and pay and am told it’d be 10 more minutes. 30 minutes later my dog comes back shaved! Not what I wanted. He stated he was too matty (underneath, by his boy bits-​yes) everywhere else was not. I was shocked and upset. He asked how often did i groom and I told him every two weeks. I pointed out how awful the back of the head is (ends awkwardly) and he apologized. So I went home. And I called back to talk to the owner and discuss my displeasure. They should have called me before doing anything so drastic! The owner was a complete jerk. 1) they accused me of lying about how often I groom him and that there was no way he’s groomed that often. (Btw, I have the receipts to prove how often I groom him and I brush my dog every day… But nice job on the unprofessional attitude and calling people liars) then he said if I was displeased with the service, I should go somewhere else. I will. Don’t worry. Worst service ever. The only good thing was he offered to give me a refund. That’s about it. Horrible owner.

Thanks to the wonderful and caring team at Reserved Barking. Hendrick and I just moved to the area. I travel for my job so Hendrick has become a «regular» rather quickly. I am a veterinarian and have seen dogs come out of facilities nervous, unsettled and upset. Hendrick RACES to go IN and comes home happy and exhausted.
Being able to add a boarding night on when my travels run late is wonderful. And having ½ day rates that can start at any time of day instead of only AM and PM is super helpful as well.
I’ve used doggie daycare for 15 years. Reserved Barking is the best. Hendrick adds his «AROO» too!

Reserved Barking is the only place I trust to care for our two dogs (Ruby & Cassie). Their day care services, boarding services, and grooming services are each the best that we’ve found in the area. The staff quickly recognized my wife and me and quickly learned our dogs behavior patterns and preferences. Our dogs are excited to go to Reserved Barking and excited to see their staff. We think of our dogs as our children and we think of Reserved Barking staff as trusted family.

This place rocks! I have 4 month old puppies which I had to board last weekend due to a trip. The staff was kind enough to accommodate me at the last minute for an evaluation and schedule my puppies for the next day. The front desk area is so inviting it actually looks as though it is the entrance to a spa ! The staff is GREAT and so enthusiastic. They were Happy to see my puppies arrive and sad to see them go. While my puppies were on their «vacation» they also received spa services such as a bath and nail clipping. Reserved barking also has a daycare program which I will utilize on a regular basis as my puppies mature. If you are in need of daycare or boarding this is the place to go!!!

The business seems a little disorganized — it always seems to take forever to pick my dog up, and I feel like I always have to ask a million questions to make sure I have all information I want (like how my dog was, etc). Some of the employees are a bit too laid back/​relaxed. The facilities are ok and seem clean. It is convenient to my house and they take my dog on short notice.
BUT my dog loves it here. He always come home happy and exhausted. We have boarded and used Reserved Barking for day care. I will continue to use this company as long as my dog seems to enjoy going.

With my only day off, Reserved Barking was the only place nearby that could accommodate. My little Yorkshire Terrier, Lexi, had fleas and a horrible haircut that need to be treated and fixed right away. Within an hour, she came out well-​groomed, happy and playful with all the staff.
Place looks clean with happy dogs everywhere. Not to mention, their prices are fair. I’d come back next time, definitely. :)
