Scheduled them to come replace a windshield. The time slot was 12 – 5. Jason called earlier in the day to say he would be there between 3−5pm. Shows up at 4:58. Ok fair enough, but then he is unable to replace the windshield because the one he has in the truck is cracked?! Isn’t that my problem, not his?! So I am left having wasted an afternoon and no new windshield. Don’t even feel like rescheduling with this company after this.

OK, so I agree with the first post by P.W. Paul was so professional, competent and nice (rare these days). They replaced my windshield and kept me informed. AJ, my technician, was nice too. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that 2 techs didn’t show up for work so the waiting time was longer than estimated (but I did notice they were hustling to get work completed, with Paul doing what he could). Paul compensated me for the wait (again, who does THAT anymore)! The waiting room is clean and has refreshments (sodas, coffee, tea, hot popcorn, TV, wifi, etc).
So, I recommend the Quaker Lane location based on my experience-​and I’m picky.

ok, it only gets worse from the above post…
like I mentioned earlier, the injury to my windshield was very minor. the crack was less than a quarter size, no problem to fix right? wrong. after a few weeks, the crack kept extending from the previous «repaired» and «resin» portion. the fact that it extended from the previous crack leads me to believe that not enough resin was injected in the first place. this seems like a human error, and quality control issues.
given their «lifetime guarantee,» I called them back to fix it. guess what? one resin is injected, they can’t continue it, and the window will have to be completely replaced!!! so basically, I’m out nearly $ 500 dollars for human error. I became suspicious, and googled safelite. there are literally thousands of complaints online of similar circumstances, in which one comes in with a dime size crack, and when its all said and done, they are replacing a whole new window.
the kicker is, their «lifetime guarantee» is not a money back guarantee. what they simply do is deduct it from the purchase of a new window, which you MUST purchase from them.
seriously, what incentive do they have to do the job right in the first place? when sub-​par work will ultimately fill their pockets by forcing you to purchase a new window.
if you don’t believe me, just google «safelite and complaints,» and you will see many, many consumer complaints.
a company which makes more money any time their work fails gives them an incentive to fail, and is not a company I would use.
NOBODY SHOULD COME IN WITH A DIME SIZE CHIP, AND HAVE TO LEAVE PAYING FOR A NEW WINDSHIELD!!!
