Cute inexpensive jewelry– the attitude of the sales girls is too much though– they’re not selling Cartier and Rolex… Shame, a little personality could go a long way.

This is my favorite jewelry store! I buy most of my jewelery from here. They have beautiful pieces from smaller designers. The price range is from about $ 15-​$ 300 so any budget can shop here. The staff are always polite and attentive.

I visit this store nearly every time I come down to see my dad in Nova. I’ve made three purchases here on three separate occasions, often during work hours when I was the only person in the store. Sometimes I leave empty-​handed after taking my time browsing the changes to their collection since my last visit. The staff is always incredibly warm and has no problem with slow shoppers like myself. My dad has also made a purchase in here and had a pleasant experience.
This is a reaffirmation as a frequent patron and active Unilocal user of my original 5-​star review for this local business. I’m thankful to have access to this affordable, fashionable boutique and wish them many years of continued success!

Fantastic product, customer service, and overall atmosphere! I have been a regular customer for over a year, and buy my jewelry here as well as any gifts for friends. It is trendy, up to date, and classic jewelry!

Admittedly, I am one of those people who made an account simply to review one particular business. This awful place is deserving of it, though. I’ll make this long story as short as possible.
My father stumbled upon this shop while on his lunch break. He decided to have a look inside when he remembered my upcoming birthday. After thirty long and exhausting minutes of indecisiveness (I’m difficult to shop for, and he’s a dad) he decided upon a ring.
My birthday arrived and I opened his gift that did not fit and was not the metal I find most flattering on me. I felt bad; he tried. Although, he was not surprised or insulted. We decided to plan a lunch date and a stop by the boutique to make an exchange (they don’t offer refunds) while out. My mother would tag along, as would the two pups.
Fast forward. My dad and I entered the shop while my mom waited outside with the dogs. I instantly loved the minimalistic interior and was excited to look at the pieces. My dad spoke to the owners about the exchange while I shopped around. I was perfectly fine until I noticed all of the other browsers had left and I was the only one there. My father had even went outside to wait with my mom. I felt so incredibly rushed with the owners’ eyes beating down on me. At that moment, my puppy, who has severe separation anxiety, poked his head in and barked for me. The people behind the counter glared at him, despite their own dog lounging atop the counter. I hurriedly made my purchase and left.
Once home, I went straight to a mirror to try on the pairs of earrings I got. Before I could even take off the backing, I noticed the posts of most of them were bent. I could have easily taken the time to straighten them out with my jewelry pliers, but after closer inspection, the metal was also hideously dented. I knew, and dreaded, that I would have to make time and another trip to that boutique. My boyfriend and I decided it would be an excuse for us to take our puppy for a stroll and get a bite to eat, so we headed to old town.
My boys waited in the car while I sucked it up and went inside. Of course the boutique had to be completely empty besides me again. I waited for the daughter to come out from the back and help me. I explained myself and handed her the pairs of earrings which I had to waste my time fixing (I was unable to remove the dents, but they went unnoticed… I’m guessing they did so because they already knew about the poor quality). The mother then came out from the back and they began to whisper about me as I was standing not two feet in front of them. I would have loved to get my father’s money back, yet I was forced to do another exchange. I quickly picked an equal amount of money in earrings and left.
I got home and went to the same mirror. I was genuinely surprised after removing the packaging and finding that they didn’t have a noticeable defects… for the time being. I was able to successfully put one of the earrings in my piercing, but as soon as I went to put on the backing, the post snapped off.
I wish I could give them zero stars. I beg you, please do not support this ‘business’.

I’m definitely in love with Shes Unique! It’s a cute little jewelry shop, with its own unique style. Very much on the chic simple side as far as jewelry goes. It’s a little bit on the pricey side for some things, but the quality of the stuff is very good. I love my arrow necklace I received as a gift from here!

Still my favorite little jewelry boutique. Associates are a great help and they always help me find exactly what I need. Bought some cute little bracelets today, right out of the shipment box! This store is constantly getting in new shipments and staying current so you are bound to always find a little something for yourself or a great unique gift. They also have the silver/​gold temp flash tattoos that I love and Voluspa candles which are so wonderful for my home and has a great scent. Thanks ladies! Highly recommend She’sUnique!

I really like this place. I always seem to find something that I want to take home! I love looking through the store window to see what’s new every time I walk up King Street. The prices seem fair, and the jewelry is like the name implies, «unique.» I come here for gifts for friends and of course myself. They have an OK selection of trendy jewelry. There are some really great designer pieces as well! I just wish they had more of a selection, and more items were on display. I definitely recommend!

I found this gem while boutique hopping in Old Town Alexandria and fell in love with all the merchandise here. The lady who helped me find a ring was super sweet which made my experience so much more enjoyable. If you like simple etsy style accessories, this is the place to go!

Ladies, this store is dangerous if you love jewelry. Such a great selection, love the range of styles & prices. The women I’ve seen working there are so friendly and can tell you all about the designers. They really do have a wonderfully unique assortment!

I love popping in here. The store owner is super sweet and very helpful. I love that they carry candles which I have now filled my house with. The jewelry is gorgeous and caters to a certain style in my opinion. Dainty rings, studded earrings in cute metal finishes, rhinestone bar earrings.
They also carry a lot of Hamsa pieces. Larger necklaces, and very small dainty ones. If you love layering jewelry in the chicest of ways come here. This isn’t your typical place to get colorful gaudy pieces, this isn’t a place to get loud costume jewelry. This place caters to those who like indie jewelry designers with very clean pieces.
I’m in love with the midi rings that are so thin, they look futuristic. The prices are great, and some of the pieces are little more pricier but I’m sure that’s because they are indeed unique pieces designed by real jewelry designers. I love that you can visibly tell that these aren’t a bunch of wholesale pieces made in who knows where that fall apart after a few wears. If you can stop by.
There is street parking, but it’s right near the water in Old town, and right on the main street.

I absolutely love this store. The jewelry pieces are trendy and of good quality. Prices are fair for the quality of the jewelry. A great place to find a gift for a friend or a little something for yourself. The owner is very helpful and friendly. It’s a must go if you are in the Old Town area.

Stopped in She Unique after seeing some really cute rings (at a really cute price)! In the window. Looked around for a bit, and then saw some other jewelry I wanted to look at. The lady manning the store (I’m not sure if the owner?), quickly came over to open the glass case before going back to her other customer. She had such great options for really good prices, and I ended up buying two simple silver rings for $ 24. Great experience, great price, great find!

After living in the area for 2 yrs, I’m a bit embarrassed that I have never been in this store prior to a few days ago, especially after all the times I walk/​drive buy it. What a fabulous find! The cute shop has so many gorgeous and unique items. Not to mention, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I think I may be adding this store to my weekly Old Town shopping list!

She’s Unique is a fantastic find in Old Town Alexandria! I recently bought a beautiful pearl ring that I get tons of compliments on. I love the eclectic style of jewelry they carry. From the fashion forward to staple pieces, you will definitely find what you’re looking for. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a gift you will not be disappointed! While the name may not inspire confidence, the merchandise in this tiny shop is really cute. From what I can tell, products are a cross between mass-​produced and independently produced. There is usually a clearance section, which is nice. But prices are really great anyways. I’ve not yet bought anything for myself, but have bought gifts here. The owner is really friendly and helpful.

This place is a hidden gem in Old Town, I came by one night and was greeted by a Welsh Corgi named Dolly. Not only is Dolly adorable but she is adorned in a wrap around pearl necklace. While talking to the owner (super nice!) and posing with Dolly in a picture (I’m a dork I know) I found a beautiful anklet for $ 50. I decided I would come back next weekend and purchase it since we were in a rush to catch the boat back to National Harbor.
I ended up purchasing the anklet but found that I hardly wore it so I came back to do an exchange. No problems– and I came out with a beautiful two toned bracelet ($ 39 and 40% off) and a pair of silver CZ earrings that were so unique I had to have them. So far I’ve been back 4 times in less than a month, every time I head to Alexandria I have to come in and visit Dolly and her owner. Such a treat and so nice to meet someone who knows her jewelry.
