Spurgeon-Lewis is less of a traditional antique store and more«decorator» focused. They seems to specialize in 19th century neo-classical items, with a lot of English and other European items. You can find some American furniture on occasion. Prices can be steep and often for items that are not period, and when they do sell period items, the prices are even steeper. The aesthetic quality, however, is always very high and so if you are not as focused on the genuine article, you can find some very beautiful items for sale. For example, that nice federal table is actually late 19th century(instead of early). In my experience, items are always accurately marked and described. The store also designs its own beautiful lighting. Worth a visit when on the Old Town antique tour.
