Cassandra Strings has been in business dealing exclusively in classical string instruments since 1996. many years of experience in this technical field assures our customers of the highest skills and knowledge where string instruments are concerned. Our stock always includes a variety of manufactures, luthiers and countries from new to vintage. We would like to assist you in any way possible in making the best selection of a fine violin, viola, cello or bass suitable to your needs and price range. Business Owner

Cassandra Thuneman has been actively involved with orchestral repair and restoration since 1986. After managing one of the largest string shops in Illinois she started her own repair shop in 1994.

With a degree in Music Education from Illinois Wesleyan University Cassandra decided to focus her attention to student needs and interests along with repairs and restorations.
