I have been a patient for the past 3 years in this office and have never had any issues, up until my last appointment a few weeks ago. I scheduled my appointment with a specific dental hygienist whom was not the dental hygienist that assisted me for my appointment, when I left I asked who the appointment was scheduled with and she stated the hygienist I had been with that day, not the hygienist I purposely scheduled with. The hygienist I regularly see, Anna, is the nicest woman I’ve ever had as a hygienist throughout my dental history. She Is very gentle and takes her time to get everything done properly. The other hygienist I had, unfortunately, was very rough and almost had me in tears with all the poking and prodding she was doing. I’ve never had issues like this at a routine cleaning appointment. Seeing as I have an oral piercing, most dentists and hygienists inform you that they can harm your gums and enamel. But this clearly unprofessional hygienist I had, told me that a different piercing would not only not harm my teeth, but it would also look better on my face. I felt extremely disrespected by that comment. If it weren’t for Anna I wouldn’t schedule an appointment at this office ever again.
