Since I worked for a cleaning service in my early 20’s and was still a «neat freak», in 2005 I decided to start cleaning homes again to help pay for our daughters college. It wasn’t long before managing the growing schedule became a challenge, so my husband Ben and I put together a business and marketing plan different from any other service in the industry. We then through ourselves completely into becoming the best customer service oriented cleaning professionals around. I love personally meeting and getting to know each client, and now have close friendships with homeowners everywhere. This is a very exciting time for ProTidy; With a staff of 22 over achievers, we have the organizational structure to provide a consistant, reliable, and thorough cleaning experience. We work diligently, day and night to deliver the highest quality service and feel our commitment, hard work, and dedication is reflected in our growing list of satified customers.

I use their service regularly. They do a really good job. Very efficient and responsive. Kathy and Ben are great. I’ve used them for a move out clean on a property and I use them for regularly weekly cleaning. I’ve been very pleased with their services and highly recommend them.

I had an amazing experience with ProTidy. I had very short notice to get my home deep cleaned for an unexpected showing. The owner was able to find someone who could be at my house in less than 24 hours. She showed up on time, worked diligently the entire time allotted for my visit and left everything sparkling clean. The fee was a lot less than I was quoted from other services AND I received top notch service. Highly recommend ProTidy!

This was a very solid experience. A real person (Ben) answered the phone when I called, was patient with the chaos of my morning, answered all my questions, and helped me take advantage of a cancellation so I didn’t have to wait a week to schedule a cleaning. In a nutshell, I was moving into a new place and I wanted everything to get a good once over… I wanted to know it was clean and I just didn’t have the time.
Paul led a crew of three (I don’t know the names of the women who were with him I’m sorry) and they were all professional, conversational, and effective. I did an initial walk-through and a final walk-through and I knew right when I walked in that they made a difference. In particular, there was sticky buildup on the kitchen cabinet and oven exterior, and they scrubbed the hell out of both. The kitchen in shiny, the baseboard and trim are clean, and the bathrooms are great. It’s an older home and some things will always show their age, but ProTidy did a great job of sprucing it up and making me feel better about moving in.
Oh, and the quote process with Ben was transparent and simple. He gave me time estimate, explained how he was quoting everything (and why) and walked me through it all.

I hired ProTidy for a move in to a townhome. They were flexible when I had to reschedule, and the girl who completed the job was great. She was early and EXTREMELY thorough. She understood exactly what I was looking for and followed any instructions with no questions asked. From speaking with Ben, you can tell they are concerned with quality. On top of it all the bill was less than the estimate which was a plus. I’d definitally utilize again, and recommend them to anyone.

We were on and off with Pro Tidy over the past year. They do a fantastic job with deep cleaning spending hours trying to get our home clean whenever we are ready to have a party or have family come over. There is no hidden fees or trying to upsell when they are actually out there. I would give them 5 stars but I think their only downfall is that they don’t dress real well when coming over. The cleaners come in sweatpants and aren’t uniformed and I they said we would have same girl there every time and we constantly had different people showing up to clean the house. *EDIT* I’m updating this because the owner responded to the post and was very nice and asked about the experience.

I wish I could give ProTidy a 5-star review like the others here on Unilocal,but they (like five other cleaning services I called) didn’t call back. I guess the economy has turned enough that small businesses are so busy and pass on jobs. Of all the work that I’ve had to have done in preparing two condo’s for market, the cleaning service providers were the least responsive. I called a total of 6 cleaning services and only one called back (see my reviews for this company that I did end up using). Three cleaners that I called back again, answered this time and told me they didn’t service the my town (near Lincolnshire) in the NW suburbs. Definitely a shortage of responsive, good, highly rated & reviewed cleaners that will service this area.

I’m SOOOO glad I checked Unilocal to find a house-cleaning service. Yaya. I’m very very impressed with Kathy’s company. I’ve had all kinds of experiences with cleaning companies, and I had one «local» person in my neighborhood offer to clean my condo for more than double what Kathy is charging. She offers well trained, efficient, bonded cleaning people and the ability to auto-deduct your payment from a checking account– very convenient to not have to remember to leave a check. I’m thrilled after my first cleaning, happy with the pricing and would highly recommend them.

I have used this service for the past 3 years and during that time have had 4 or 5 different girls come by. Kathy usually sends the same staff and for a long time that was the case but I do not use a regular schedule and typically request a cleaning with very short lead-time. They are also accommodating to my hectic schedule and each staff member has left my home in the same condition (with one exception but she is longer employed there).
After a few crash-and-burns with other local services (steer clear of Maid Rite!) Pro-Tidy has earned and kept my trust.
