Alhambra Donuts

Predictable. Consistent. Delicious. I don’t buy donuts much, but this is your standard garden variety place. Just wish they had made the filled one sooner (I came in way early.)
Cash only, no cards. And they sell lottery tickets.

I love donut shops where the service is great and people are friendly, and this is definitely one of those places. The lady working there was so friendly and patient with me as I took my time picking out my two dozen donuts. Donuts are great too! Will definitely come here more often since it’s close to home.

If you are up late stop by here for the croissants! They come out of the oven at 4:35 AM! Piping hot and delicious! Tim is the owner and makes everything himself! Prices are great and the space is nice and clean. Donuts are bomb too!

Not open until 8! Was dark and definitely closed at 7:30pm today. No chance to try their donuts, unfortunately…

I was looking for boba near my job and I found this little donut shop. I was already thinking it was going to be bad because of bad experiences I’ve had of getting boba at donut shops but I still wanted to try it, maybe it wasn’t going to be like the other places. I ordered Thai tea w/​boba and omg it was delicious! Not too sweet just perfect! I am so glad I tried it, it is going to be my place to go to now. The place is also very clean which is a plus!

I’ve hit this spot more than a few times over the years. It has your typical selection of donuts, or less. It’s often a selection of like 10 kinds or so actually. Maybe that’s because I’m not here early in the AM, not sure. Personally if I can get a chocolate anything I’m good, but just so y’all know. I wouldn’t recommend their coffee, it was too watery for my liking.
All and all their prices are fair, the service is good, and the donuts are aight.
They also have lotto tickets!

I have been coming here every weekend for as long as I can remember. Great place and great variety. Highly recommended.

FYI. CASH ONLY… That’s OK, because I robbed my piggy bank at home to pay for donuts.
My old donut shop closed :-(a couple weeks ago. After trying different donut places, I was lucky enough to have come across this one. I usually buy donuts for friends at work. After the first visit and a week later this nice kind lady behind the counter remembered my order from last time. Amazing! And she’s great at remembering people’s names.
The glazed donuts and donut holes are fresh upon touching them. I take «one only» donut hole for myself because I’m diabetic. Ok, I cheated a little and had two. Why are they called donut holes, if there is no hole in the donut. Maybe call it donut round… donut solid hole… donut pop outs… hmmmm…
Now I really enjoy coming here.

Went in yesterday for regular donuts. They were fresh, cheap, and delicious. Also the guy was really sweet to my kids. Will definitely stop in again. Cash only.

The owner is super sweet and kind. This is my go to place for donuts to feed my class on Sundays. Little shop with a big heart, I highly endorse this place.

There is a really limited selection of donuts that don’t taste freshly made.
I came early on a Saturday morning. There were no other customers but there were also not very many donut varieties to choose from. The apple fritters and cinnamon bun looking donuts didn’t look appealing at all. I ended up buying four donuts: glazed twist, their «tiger tail» which is a glazed twist with chocolate you can’t even taste, a glazed old fashioned and a maple bar. Total for 4 donuts was $ 4.75, which isn’t expensive or anything but I bought a dozen donuts for my office recently from another mom and pop donut shop in Alhambra, and a dozen donuts was around $ 8, so donuts here are higher than the norm.
When I got home, my husband and I sampled a bite from all four but I didn’t want to commit to any of them. The maple bar glaze in particular was terrible and weak. I don’t know how else to describe it but it was missing the maple component and just tasted like waxy, brown corn syrup.

I came late, about forty minutes before closing, so no judgment on the limited donuts leftover. My fault.
I got a twist, cinnamon crumb, and an apple fritter. They all tasted the same, really. Nothing special here. They’re not bad, not great… just okay.

Donut + boba drinks.
Their donut selection is not that big. However, it is super solid. Nothing was too stale or «doughy». Got a cake donut, regular glazed, and a bear claw. Regular glazed was my favorite. Fluffy & perfect amount of glaze. Their drinks are on the really sweet side. I have a huge. sweet tooth and still thought that so prepare for a super sugar rush.
Parking is a lot. Cash-​only and the workers here are nice and fast.

I live near by and i go very often i must say great selection of food and drinks.

They already recognize my son & i. Owners are awesome, very polite, very nice. If i need to leave for a few minutes they take care of my stuff lol. Clean place too. & sometimes a few free bees (:

I don’t know why this place is named Alhambra Donuts because from the picture you see the Donuts sign only. This store is located in the Titan Atlantic plaza. Located in the corner of Atlantic and Front St.
A hole in the wall donut shop that has a lot of goodies. They sell donuts of course, milk teas, slushies, boba drinks, muffins, croissants, sour candies, chips, and all sorts of yummy tidbits… They can even fry some burgers and fries… A variety of donuts starting from fill ins, donut holes (my favorite), long ones, sprinkles, and the classics. I often go here when I go laundry next door. I order a boba thai tea with ham and cheese croissant (mmm nom nom).
All the items are pretty cheap here. They only accept CASH ONLY so make sure you bring your dollars. I was desperate for an ATM machine but you have to go 2 blocks away for it… Plenty of parking in the lot and street. I wish they had WiFi in the store so I could just chill, grub on, and get my sugar rush…
Of course, not close enough to be Krispy Kreme material but good enough to grab some donut holes and just pop it in your mouth…

Donuts are donuts right? WRONG! there are obviously the Krispy Cremes, but they are far from this area. Here in Alhambra, you can either go to an Albertson’s, Ralph’s or Super-​A-​Foods and get donuts from god knows where, or you can head over to Winchell’s where you can get a «classic» donut that taste like it should be at one of the grocery stores I just mentioned (I have no idea how Winchell’s got so well known for that crap they try to pass off as donuts.
TC Donuts (previously Pronto Donuts from a few stores down) in the place to go for good quality, fresh, authentic donuts, they have all the usual flavors, shapes and sizes. The family who runs the place is very friendly as long as you don’t try to pay with plastic.
