Bank of America

To be fair, an update from the debacle a few months ago. The bank responded to the problem with return of funds to my account shortly after it was brought to their attention via social media. A good thing, hopefully their customer service will continue to improve.

Time and time again this branch has starved me to death… Why you ask? Because, I legitimately use up all of my lunch break waiting in the darn line!
I have no problem with the tellers whatsoever, keep up the good work! However, during the lunch rush there are only two tellers helping a long line of customers, one of which is specifically assigned to business accounts. So when you think about it it’s only ONE teller.
During my last visit, I was in a rush so I spoke to the customer service rep (which I will not name drop) and asked if they could open up another window. She totally did not address my concern and actually deflected it instead. I asked you a question and you reciprocated and asked me a question that was totally unrelated. What the heck?
I am so DONE with this branch.

The line is out the door and there is only three tellers. There are seven windows. Im curious to know why QUALITY customer service is not a concern to the branch manager.

The second day I went to another BOA, and the personal banker from that bank reviewed it, said there was no problem with it whatsoever, and that the approval would’ve only taken 3 minutes, at most 5 minutes. He informed me that she shouldn’t even have asked me to leave. In the end the wire was approved in about 2 minutes.

There are issues at every location. The Bank as a whole lacks of good customer service. I’m looking for other options to take my business at a local bank in Pasadena.

Friendly tellers, but we had to wait forever. Only 2 windows were open. 1 for business and 1 is for others. Manager didnt even bother to open one more or step in… So sad…

Was greeted while walking in and had our names added to a list to sort out some problems. The guy said we were next. Ended up waiting for over an hour while we watched representatives walk past and ignored us. After standing up and grabbing one of them only did they offer to help us. Never going here again

This bank has been here in Alhambra for years. It’s old, you would think by now thins bank would get it together! This bank is always short on staff/​tellers and costumer service is ridiculously pushy&sloppy. I do not have money issues with this bank but unfortunately I’ve had bad experiences every single time I’m here. If I’m coming to this bank to make a quick transaction it always takes more than 25mins in line and takes forever for me to get out. I do not bank here but my car loan is here and I do banking for my parents but at this point I’m just going to set up automatic pay so they can take it straight from my Wells Fargo checking. (Which by the way Wells Fargo on Main Street four blocks down in Alhambra is the best bank to bank at. I love banking at Wells Fargo they pass out water bottles, lollipops and balloons to my 6year old and they also have crayons and paper so the kids have something to keep busy with!) I will never ever get a account here at this Bank of America and I advise nobody else does either.

The workers at this branch does not care about their customers. Waited at the sitting area for an hour just to open a bank account and only two people were actually at the desks working. One was with a customer and the other one was working on her own thing. One teller behind the glass and one greeting customers. 4 employees at 2:30pm on Thursday. His branch is ridiculous.

It’s average looking, average service, average line length, the plus here is the large amounts of parking space.

This place sucks! I smiled to one of the employees there and she didn’t even give me a smile AT ALL, nor greet us. What a shame, such an ugly character she has didn’t even help her looks. Most of the employees here are rude, they don’t know what customer service means… the only one who talks to you is with the teller who had to help you deposit/​withdraw or etc because they have no choice but to talk to you. They’re all sucks!
I think they got that idea in their big heads that working at the bank is so awesome, dressing up so professionally, getting overpaid for a bad customer service. They just laughs, smile and communicate with each other and US, customers getting treated as nothing but trash. When in reality, they need us to keep the bank in business.
I think that’s why there’s a bunch of people that rather use the ATM, people inside are rude, think so highly of themselves, useless. And to think how many people would love to work, to be in their shoes to bring home money for their families and make the best at work. Ugh!
Thankfully I don’t have an account with them, my husband does. Hahahahaha!

Poor customer service. Never coming to this branch again.

They have 3 ATMs here so it keeps busy with customers in and out. The bank staff is really friendly and helpful.

There are several very big win-​over things I like about this Bank of America:
(1) Hardly anyone knows about this location, so there’s always a parking spot and never a line.
(2) They have 3 ATMS!
(3) Right next to the Alhambra’s Farmers Market on Sunday mornings.
You guessed right if you thought I come here every Sunday morning before spending all my cash away at the farmer’s market. I never have to wait for a parking spot or wait forever while people try to balance their whole checking accounts at an ATM.

I have been banking with BOA for 9 years and have never had a problem with them until now. The tellers/​bankers are generally very friendly but the loan officer that works at this branch is rude, unprofessional, and irresponsible for the following reasons:
1) I went in to get a pre-​approval and the loan officer did not provide me with a lost of required documents. Thus, we had to go back and forth a few times for her to get all the documents needed — that’s disorganized and unprofessional.
2) The turn around rate promised was 72 hours; however, it took more than a week for them to get back to me. Furthermore, I’m the one who had to contact the loan officer on the 8^th day at which point she had requested additional documentation — disorganized, unprofessional, and a bit irresponsible.
3) The loan officer was actually extremely rude in her tone of voice and actions.
4) I actually got a pre-​approval from another bank and decided not to work with BOA because of their rude and unprofessional manner. When I went to retrieve my documents they had «misplaced» my tax returns AND my application, which consists of highly confidential information, such as my SSN! — unprofessional, irresponsible, and absolutely ridiculous.
Needless to say I was less than satisfied with the customer service with the loan officer in this branch.

This is my usual branch office. It is located near Main and Garfield in the Alhambra Plaza.
The parking can be busy as there aren’t many spots, or park in the plaza parking a short walk away.
This branch has 4 atms located on the outside of the branch. I normally see security during the branch open hours only.
No drive thru banking :(
The customer service was good.

This is my neighborhood bank and it’s perfectly functional. I like that there is no glass separating you and the tellers (I guess they trust this part of Alhambra). The inside is pretty big, and I have been able to do some pretty important transactions like refinance a home loan and open a CD at this location with no problems. What I don’t like is that Bank of America stopped selling travellers’ checks. I was so nervous carrying all that cash when I went abroad (minus 1 star).
There are 4 ATMs outside and I have never had any problems with the running out of money, or being out of order so at least someone is maintaining those well.
