One reviewer commented about the excellent customer service from Cindy. It is true. Cindy offers great customer service. I had never had a tint shop calling me back a week after the job to see whether I was entirely satisfied, until G5 and Cindy.
At the advice of my friends, I decided to get the crystalline tint. I have privacy windows in the back, but they don’t keep the heat out.
G5 was able to give me a great pricing over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment, Cindy took her time to find out exactly what I want done. She gave professional advice about which tint should be used at the back to ensure that I can still see clearly at night through the tint and the privacy windows, and which tint I should use with the panoramic roof while still allowing maximum amount of visibility.
The end result was a great tint job, allowing some privacy in the front without attracting undue attention, great heat insulation all over without sacrificing any safety.
Crystalline is quite expensive. Many tint shops I had used in the past told me that it is the best at heat insulation, but typically at twice the price. But, G5 gave me a great deal and did a great job. Cindy provided excellent customer service.

These guys are the best! I brought my brand new Porsche 911 in and they did an incredible job, even with the really tight quarters and complex curves on the rear window, Ricky then came out and did a perfect job on the windows at my home office. So there was no question where to go when I recently bought a new Mercedes SUV. The install went extremely well and he took great care with my new car. There is never any hard sell with Ricky or Cindy — they tell you your options and explain the plusses and minuses of each. This is the only place I trust to do tint work on my cars!

It’s about 6 months later and I still love my tint. I am itching to go back and have them retint it a little darker. I should just leave it, I haven’t gotten noticed by a Cop but I wouldn’t mind it a little darker just for looks but I am very happy with it.

I had the rear windows of my Honda Accord tinted at G5. Cindy provided excellent customer service and thoroughly explained the differences between each type of tint. Once I decided what I wanted the job was done in just about an hour. I mean, there’s nothing I could say that hasn’t been said about this place already. If you’re considering getting your windows tinted then this is the place to go.

These folks are real pros! Not just the install but the customer service and knowledge is exceptional! I called a few places to get info and quotes and yeah there were cheaper options but Cindy and the team at G5 really know what they are doing when it comes to tint. She reviewed all options for me, made suggestions and gave me an accurate quote on the cost and installation timing. Make an appointment for the best service, and trust them to do what they do.
I brought in a new Lexus CT with passenger and rear windows already tinted so they matched my driver side windows and did my windshield with the 3M crystalline. Best $ 350 I ever spent! Cindy even followed up to see how the tint is looking and find had any issues. Great job G5!

First review for them but my 3^rd time here. Cindy is always helpful and won’t try to sell you the most expensive option. There are several options and it’s based on what you need in terms of brand, shade, etc. All three times I went with the 3M Crystalline on all windows as it helps the best during the summer heat. Front windshield 70, all others 50. Amazing service from Cindy, nothing was ever rushed, car was finished on time, and the detail and quality of service can not be compared to others. This should be your go to place for tint.

Amazing! Highly recommend! I was referred here by my friend and they did not disappoint. I got the same tint as my friend on my spanking new 2016 Honda Civic. They give you good suggestions on the tint color and even explain about their other tints. For all of my windows, excluding front windshield, it came out to 170. They even call you a week later to check in on the tint.
If you’re looking for a legit tint job, this place is definitely worth it. You even get lifetime warranty-​bubbling, fading, no worries they’ll take care of it.

Called this place based on the amazing reviews. Already knew I wanted 3M Crystalline 70 for my front windshield and Formula One Pinnacle for my windows. Ricky (owner) is very nice and informs the customer well to make the best informed decision for their vehicle.
His team were all very efficient and did an excellent job on my car. The work was done in a timely manner and before I knew it, tint was completed. Looks really nice and thanks to Ricky’s great suggestion, I went with the Crystalline 60 instead.
Will definitely be back for future projects and refer my friends here!

Didn’t know there were so many different types of tints.
They were very helpful in helping me decided which tint to go with. Service was fast, took about two hours.
Ended up going with 50% 3M crystalline.
There was this display in the store that lets you feel the difference in heat penetration based on the type of tint you get. Honestly it was hard to tell the difference in heat penetration between the color stable nano and the crystalline (twice the price), but still went with the crystalline. No pressure from the guy I talked to, he was patient as i flip flopped between the two for 15 minutes.
They did a great job on the tint. got a call back a few days later to see how things were.
Will bring future cars back here for their service

Amazing service. I have had two vehicles get tint by G5 and each one has been amazing. They definitely don’t cut corners and ensure that they do a quality job.
I called and Cindy answered, gave her my name and she pulled up my file and instantly remembered who I was (there was a 11 month break in-​between vehicles). Dropped the vehicle off right as they opened, was notified that there was a complication in the late afternoon, it was all fixed and good to go by closing time.
Would definitely recommend them for your tinting needs! I came all the way from Orange County because they are worth it!

Called the night before and got a morning appointment the very next day. Cindy was super friendly and was so kind in explaining everything about the different types of tint they offer.
I appreciate that there is a variety. The time she took in showing me the differences of each tint I was interested in was really good. I didn’t feel pushed into anything and felt very good about going to them. As a woman I am super cautious about where I take my car and I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

Just got my tint done by them and I am absolutely in love with it!!! I have gone to G5 Tint for the past couple of years and I must say that I am always incredibly pleased with their services. Cindy is the best!!! She is VERY professional and friendly. Cindy assures you that what you are paying for is super high quality tint. I had many questions for her and she took the time to explain everything in great detail.

I’ve been wanting to get my car windows tinted, but didn’t know where to start — decided to swing by G5 because of the great Unilocal reviews. They certainly did not disappoint. I don’t know a whole lot about window tints (types, materials, the different %s, etc.), but I walked in without an appointment, and Cindy was able to walk through everything based on my car model and their available films. The actual work requires an appointment though, unless they had a no-​show the day of or have some openings. However, to be on the safe side, I would just make an appointment ahead of time.
For the front two windows of my car, I was in and out in about 45 – 50 min. Pretty happy with the tint I chose (SunTek CXP nano carbon with heat rejection). If you ever are considering tints, definitely check this place out.

I called quite a few tint stores, and G5 had the best combination of price, good reviews, and having experience with a wide selection of cars (including nice ones like Porsche and Teslas).
I did a ton of research regarding tinting my Prius V (wagon). Wanted good UV/​IR and TSER numbers, and the choice was between 3M Crystalline, Suntek CXP, or Llumar CTX. Prestige’s Photosync (the choice of many Tesla drivers) is probably the best, but twice as expensive as the 3M, with Prestige’s 2^nd line Ceraluxe, about the same as the 3M. However, there are only a handful of places in SoCal which do the Prestige tints (G5 isn’t one of them I don’t think), and the marginal benefit wasn’t worth the drive or expense to me.
I came in and had a chance to speak with one of the installers (Daniel), who showed me other cars on the lot and the various tint levels. He was very knowledgeable about the intricacies of the tints. Specifically, I had concerns about the Llumar AirBlue80 on the front windshield having too much of a blue tint and having too much internal reflection, and he knew about those issues and was able to allay my fears. For all the research I did, it was still very helpful to speak to an actual installer (not just the staffers handling calls), so I would ask for that if you haven’t seen the tints in person before.
The prices for the whole car (20% rear, 40% front, 80% front windshield) were: 3M — $ 850, LLumar $ 510, Suntek $ 400. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. Ultimately, I went with the Llumar CTX (dye-​ceramic) and was very happy with the results. I can’t even tell the front windshield tint is there, and they got good results on the hard spots (like the dot matrix behind the rearview mirror, and the rear defroster lines).
I chose to wait in the waiting area, which offers free wifi and free sodas. I don’t think it took more than 2 hours total. It’s only been a week, but I’ve been very happy with the results so far, and would definitely recommend them.

Fast and friendly service. I had an appt to go in on a Saturday to get my car tinted (all Windows except front windshield) and they got it done in less than two hours.
They left some debris in the tint on my rear window, so I had to go back the following week, but they removed the debris and tint then reinstalled the tint without a hitch

It has been a year after I got my window tints from G5. A few days after the installation, I remember Cindy had called and left a voice message, asking how everything was and if I had any other questions or concerns. Again, GREAT customer service.
As for the quality, I can honestly say that through all of the sun exposure and dog snot and slobber all over the insides and cleaning them with Windex, my tints are still good as new. No bubbling, no cracking, no peeling. I often drive around and see all of these issues on other people’s tints and think to myself «why didn’t you just fork out a little extra money and get them at G5 instead??» Alas, I needn’t worry about that myself.
With the ones that I had gotten, 3M that were about the 2^nd darkest on the back and 3^rd on the front, I haven’t gotten pulled over by cops (*knocks on wood*). Besides, do they even care anymore? I see much darker ones anyway.
Finally, I’d suggest getting the cooler, more gray shade. These look much more natural than the ones with a brownish hue to it, and I’d assume they block out more heat.

I took my car in, a new 2015 Scion Coupe tC, with my sister’s recommendation as she had got her car tinted in there in the past with G5.
G5 did an excellent job (no bubbles) with the Suntek film I chose. They took the time to show the different films they had that fits my budget and needs.
I am very impressed with the way they were able to fit my car in to their busy booking schedule.
I walked out a very happy customer and would highly recommend them for future tint to friends and family.
