LA Speed Shop

Was looking around to have my whole electrical mess gone through and odds and ends tied up to be more reliable on my 73IH. Chris was recommend to me by a good friend and lets just say Chris lived up to every good word I heard. The solid work and attention to detail that Chris puts into his work you can instantly see once you get your bike back. I wouldn’t be able to find one bad thing to say about my whole experience, Chris is a total stand-​up guy. LA Speed Shop is definitely my go-​to shop with anything I need done or ordered.

Chris has always found time to do even modest work on my bikes even when he’s inundated with high end builds. And his work is impeccable.

Stopped at LA Speed Shop to have Chris weld a hardtail on my sportster frame. He was super friendly, helpful, and supportive and managed to cram my job in even though he is trying to finish a couple of bikes for an upcoming event. Old school bikes and old school service from a real family run shop! Thanks again to Chris, Fiona, and the girls for keeping it real!

After contacting many different shops from West LA all the way to OC, I found out about LA Speed shop right by my house in Alhambra!
I stopped by and asked the owner, Chris, to fabricate a bracket for my seat and a tail light I purchased for my 2014 Bolt RSPEC. He doesn’t work on imports much but agreed to help me out and work with my timeline as well.
I picked up the bike today and have been bragging about the quality of his work all day to everyone. The cleanliness of his work, the contour of the perfectly contoured bracket and the overall quality of his work are 100 times better than anything you see on the original bars and brackets of the bike. I’m a perfectionist and wasn’t sure how he was going to design the bracket. Let’s just say I was speechless when I saw the outcome.
The Bolt would have been a hundred times nicer if Chris had made it himself from the ground up.
They are moving to a new location but I will be sure to follow them for all my future work and most definitely recommend LA Speed Shop to anyone looking to get real quality work done.

Chris was referred to me by Glendale Harley Davidson when I was having difficulties locating a fabricator to design and build a custom sissy bar for my breakout. Cris did an awesome job at an extremely reasonable price for someone as busy as he is. The attention to detail was incredible plus he’s just an all around great guy. LA Speed shop is my go to for custom work.

As a motorcycle enthusiest, Ive used La Speed shop in several occasions. This is not your average motorcycle shop! Chris Richardson, the owner is an incredibly talented and down to earth guy. They do everything from rebuilding a carb, to building a complete custom Harley from the ground up. His work speaks for its self, his bikes are amazing!
