Mendi Eyebrow Threading

Did a fantastic job! So pleased with the results. I usually get my brows done at Maya or Kaya and they miss so many hairs and sometimes even take off part of my eyebrow. Boo! This place takes a bit longer than other places but it is totally worth it. They take the time to get every little hair out even the very short hairs. My threading last longer from this place as well. Maybe because they get every hair out… The lady put hand sanitizer on before she touched my face and put witches hazel on after she was finished The only bad thing I have to say is that they don’t trim your brows so I had to do it myself when I got home.

$ 6 for PRECISE, threaded eyebrows. Mendi has a real eye for brows that look good and actually managed to fix the uneven eyebrows I got when I went to some eyebrow place a couple of weeks ago…
She makes recommendations and asks what you want BEFORE she threads which makes her a total keeper. The customer she had before me was a complete a-​hole to her and trying to bargain with her already cheap prices but she was completely professional and sweet. Definitely the best hole in the wall for eyebrows.

The lady that did my eyebrows did such an amazing job and you can tell she cares what your eyebrows look like. She took the time to look at them and suggested what I should do. I wish I would have gotten her name.
It was also the least painful eyebrow threading I have ever been too. And cheap too! Left a nice tip and she was very grateful. I’ll be making the 20 minute drive in the future!

Prices are super cheap, $ 6 for eyebrow threading, $ 5 for chin threading, $ 5 for upper lip threading. I got my eyebrow threaded and she spent lots of time and care in shaping my eyebrow and making sure they were even.

Mendi is the best! Her prices are very low and she is so meticulous when she grooms your face. She takes a lil bit longer than others but it’s totally worth the wait!

Great price! $ 6 eyebrow threading. They did a beautiful job on my eyebrows and they took me in right away without an appointment. Parking was actually ok, despite the fact that it is in the insanely packed Costco parking lot.

I look like a hairy beast all the time bc I refuse to go anywhere else for my eyebrows and she’s too far away! But well worth it every time! I’ve had to many disappointments elsewhere but she gets my brows perfect all the time!

I haven’t been to many eyebrow threading places but so far this place I like. Not only is it much cheaper than other places, I like how they take their time threading my daughter’s eyebrows. And they always come out even.
Just found out that they do eyelash extensions here. I just witnessed one of their customers getting it done and it looks really good. They use individual lashes and the outcome looks natural. I am definitely gonna give this place a try for eyelash extensions.

I’ve been here a few times now, and have had my eyebrows and upper lip threads by two different ladies. I have had positive experiences every time I have been here. The ladies are very detail oriented and take their time with the threading, leaving no hair unnoticed (unless it’s practically impossible to pull out for some reason). They’ll even throw in some aloe vera or witch hazel if you request it, or if they see you’re a little swollen. For both eyebrows and upper lip, the grand total was $ 11… definitely not a bad price at all. They even offer a stamp card if you go multiple times.
The threading station is toward the back of the facility, where they share space with nail and hair salon stations. The place is relatively clean — clean enough where you don’t feel apprehensive.
Yes, it’s a little painful if it’s your first time, or if you haven’t had your brows/​lip threaded in a while. But, if you have sensitive skin (like me), threading is one of your best options as there are no chemicals that will irritate your skin.
As for parking, there is very limited street parking in front of the building, but there is also a free parking structure across the street by the Chase bank along Main Street. It’ll only take you a couple of minutes max to walk from there to the facility.
Overall, I feel better knowing I’m supporting a small business like Noemi & Mendi. The quality of their work warrants people to go and support!

It’s hard for me to trust people with my eyebrows or any other body part. But I trusted Mendi from the beginning. What made it easy was that my sister had gone to her first and said that her first threading experience wasn’t bad at all.
By now, I have seen Mendi at least half a dozen times, and have been pleased with the results each time. There is never a stray hair that goes unaddressed, which is a rare occurrence because few people thread/​wax/​trim/​pluck as meticulously and diligently as Mendi does.
I typically have her do my eyebrows, lip, and chin for a total of $ 16. Upon request, she can wax in lieu of thread, especially for the more sensitive upper lip area. But I think that it’s a $ 1 more to wax, because sometimes my total is $ 16 and sometimes it’s $ 17 (I don’t always remember to request wax).
Bonus: Mendi does stamp cards! So for every 10 eyebrow threadings, you get one free. And she’s flexible with the cards – if you forget your card, you can start a new one and then combine with the other the next time you go.
I usually text her (the number listed on this page is her direct line) to make an appointment, but have found that that doesn’t really matter, because people still come in any time before you anyway…
Also, she told me yesterday (July 24) that she’ll be gone for a month, returning late August. Her friend will replace her until then; Mendi says she does a good job, too, but I probably won’t find out since I don’t need to go for another month anyway.

Time: If you are in a hurry DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT even think of coming unless you have got some time to spend… I mean you can take a chance, you may just get lucky.
Forms of payment: if you do not have cash you will pay a $ 1.00 fee.
Quality: She does an amazing job however, the time I have waited is not worth it to me. I lasted only 4 visits.

I wanted lash extensions and after doing some research here on Unilocal I decided to go with Mendi! She takes her time and because I made an appt early this morning, I didn’t have to wait! She had to turn down 5 other clients who went in for threading while she was with me! She has only one chair and is the only one that does threading and lash extensions…
I’m super happy with my new lashes and with the care tips she gave me, I’m hoping to have them for a long time!

Mendi is the best, she will do your eyebrows just how ask her too, Ive been to places where I ask for something but they say I need to let my eyebrows grow so they leave them half asses.
You can call before hand to see how many people she has waiting, she leaves my eyebrows looking amazing. And shes only blocks away from my job so I love going to her on my lunch breaks, I highly recommend her!

Came in with my husband today (Friday) around 6:20PM. Walked right in and didn’t have to wait. Mendi works fast and efficiently. She cleaned up my brows as well as my husband’s quite well. My new go to.

I’ve been looking around for a good but cheap eyebrow threading place and I finally found it! I was getting my hair dyed at Noemi’s and decided to try this place out after getting my hair done.
There was a line since Mendi was the only one working, so there was a bit of a wait. However, when Mendi did my brows, she took her time and shaped them well! I’ve been to other places and they make an excuse saying they can’t get it even because they’re grown unevenly or that’s just how eyebrows are. But I was extremely pleased after Mendi did my brows and even they were! The good thing about this place is that it’s only $ 6 and she gives you a stamp card as well. I’m definitely coming back here to do my brows next time I’m in the area.

The first half of the review is for Noemi.
I have very long hair… All the way to my waist and I’m very particular about who cuts it. I always feel like the stylists don’t listen to me. That is not the case with Noemi. Not only is she sweet and personable, she listens and did exactly what I wanted! And she didn’t overcharge me based on the length of my hair. She squeezed me in and warned me that she may not finish before her next appointment. Noemi was doing me a huge favor by taking me on short notice and I love that she respects her appointments. That says a lot about her customer service. She ended up styling my hair and finishing up before her next appointment arrived. She cut my hair dry, which I normally hate because it feels like the stylist is pulling or treating at my hair. But Noemi is a professional! She did an awesome job and my hair looks great! No one else is going cut my hair again!!!
I only met Noemi because my sister gets her eyebrows and lashes done by Mendi. My sister swears by Mendi! And now, I do too!!!
I went in this Saturday to get the last extensions. Mendi is so nice and sweet. On top of that, she has a really good eye! I had recently haphazardly plucked my own eyebrows and she suggested cleaning them up for me prior to doing the eyelashes. I honestly did not think it would make a difference. It really did. She shaped my brows beautifully and got all those pesky little hairs I’m too lazy to pluck or can’t even see.
And then she did my lashes… They look goooood. She did them just how I like. They don’t even look fake. It looks like I’m wearing really good mascara. She placed each lash bunch perfectly to make sure my eyes look even (my left one has issues sometimes LOL).
Overall my experience here has been awesome! I live in Mission Viejo but these ladies are totally worth the drive.

I’ve been cursed with caveman eyebrows, which grow terribly fast and in different directions.
But Mendi, incredibly, is the only stylist I have ever been to that shapes them to my satisfaction. I feel like a new woman every time she does my eyebrows!
So, if she so expertly sculpts even the messiest, hairiest of brows, why give four stars and not five?
Time. As much as I appreciate her skill, she works painstakingly slow. There have been times where I’ve had to wait nearly an hour, with only one person ahead of me. (Yes, it happened more than once!).
She works patiently, purposefully, and will not finish until she feels your eyebrows are evenly shaped and flatter your face. But sometimes– I just don’t have the time to wait so long!
However, for the price, if you have the time or can call ahead– I definitely recommend Mendi. (Especially if you have manbrows like mine) — only 5.99 $ for eyebrow threading!
They also have their own parking lot behind the salon, take credit/​debit card, AND have a loyalty card (each 11^th threading is FREE!).
I and my now-​beautiful eyebrows give Mendi 4.5 stars for her individualized, expert styling!

True to the reviews, Mendi’s touch was very gentle and she is very thorough. No stray hair gets left behind!
She adjusted my hands and positioned them. She was very patient, friendly, and attentive!
