Thanks to Rick, Teresa and the team at Royal Termite. They did a great job from beginning to end on our fumigation.

Got some honest advice from Rick today. Had a good perspective and was right on time for his appointment. We are appreciative of his efforts.

Rick is a excellent! You can clearly tell he’s very knowledgable. The fumigation company he uses is also very great (Expert Fumigations).
Overall the service and communication was excellent. I dinged one star because I had to rush home, clean out our safe, and keep it open during the fumigation process. I wish I had known about this earlier.
In fact, if I wasn’t able to come home in time to open the safe, the entire fumigation process would have been cancelled. Fortunately the issue was resolved due to Rick’s team contacting me right away. The other side of this is that the fumigation team seemed to be very competent in what they were doing which is a huge plus.
Best part was that Rick was also around $ 300-​$ 400 cheaper than the other quotes I received.

I’ve had signs of termites in a post on my back porch for a few weeks now. All the things I normally do to get rid of them weren’t working, so I called Royal and set up an appointment. The owner, Rick, came out to inspect. Instead of sending out his team, he just handled the issue on the spot, and refused to charge me.
Know that if this guy does charge, it’ll be a fair price for knowledgeable work!
I’d recomment Royal Termite Control in a heartbeat.

They called me the night before my appointment to have it rescheduled for earlier in the day. Then, nobody showed up. Driver didn’t call. I called them, and thy couldn’t get a hold of their driver. I called back several times, no update. I even waited over 24 hours before writing this review to give them a chance to correct the situation, nothing. I’m beyond disappointed.

Rick is the «Man». If you want HONEST termite work done call Royal Termite Control, period! Rick came out and inspected our house, he was professional, courteous, and HONEST! He evaluated our pest problem and did spot treatments, not the «Tenting» others had recommended.
I would give him a TEN, but the stars only go to five.

Thanks for not showing up for our scheduled appointment. I just love it when I have to stay home from work for no good reason.

HONEST. HONEST. HONEST. I work in construction, so I know when I meet a tradesman who know his stuff and is HONEST! Rick will come out and give a full assessment and do so in a non-​rushed way. I had to wait two weeks to get an appointment and I am glad I did (Termites will not eat your whole house in two weeks!) It is worth the wait. You will also have a blast talking to him! Thanks again Rick for a thorough look at our property. He can also identify wood rot from termite rot. So glad I called!

Rick came out to my property in Glendora and gave the place a thorough search. We promptly received the written report and within a few days scheduled an appointment to get the repairs done. The workers did a fantastic job and cleaned up the area perfectly. We received Termite clearance the same day. As a Realtor with clients that depend on me for efficiency in an economical way, I can count on Royal Termite every time. I won’t use anyone else!

I want to give these guys a shout-​out for honesty! Had them look at my house for a 2^nd opinion on having my house tented for termites. Another company told me they found evidence of an infestation and wanted $ 2400 to tent the place.
Rick came and looked at the «termite pellets» and said he did not think it was from termites. Suggested I vacuum the area carefully and watch for any sign of new activity.
It’s been 3+ months, and NOTHING! Will continue to watch, but at this point it’s looking like he saved me a lot of money! If I do see future evidence, I will certainly call Royal to do the work.

Rick is the best! We saw his reviews on Unilocal so we called him after our previous termite exterminator, A&G, sold out to Terminix (boo! those guys are crooks!) Rick came punctually on the appointment and saw the termite droppings around our garage area. He proceeded to drill three holes, inject the pesticide, and patched up the area. When we asked him how much, he said don’t worry about it! He refused to take our money and just told us to tell our friends. He also looked around and saw no further infestation (our house was tented ten years ago). Royal is the best!

As a realtor, I have interactions with a lot of termite companies, and I see a wide range in quality (or lack thereof!) The longer I’m in this business, the more I appreciate Rick Hannegan and Royal Termite. I always recommend Royal Termite to my clients. Rick is honest, reliable and trustworthy, and he stands behind his work.

This was a bad experience. I reached out to them to schedule a walk through. They came out and informed us, they need to send their exterminated person out to my house to measure (which took him two days to come out). finally came and measured my house, but never sent me an estimate or even a phone call. I will never contact them again or recommend this place to anyone!

Termite inspectors can be like c, arpetbaggers. Not Hannegan & his crowd at Royal. Always honest, always clear, always accountable. I’ve known him for nearly 30 years of selling real estate in the San Gabriel Valley. Call him.

Termite inspection.
Came to look at the house. Told him about the droppings we saw. Informed us that it was crickets, nothing to worry about. Showed us some termite droppings for contrast, so I could learn the difference. Walked around the house but found no signs of termites, so told us we don’t need to fumigate. Thank you Rick for being honest!
