Established in 2014.

After years of providing freelance and on-​location services, Genna Khein opened Beauty on the Block — a boutique salon in the Vantis neighborhood of Aliso Viejo, CA — to be able to meet the high demand for her services. The salon offers services ranging from airbrushed makeup, updo styling, bridal services, blowouts, color, corrective color, creative color (balayage, ombré), haircuts, classes, parties, and much more! Beauty on the Block is a place where its clients receive 5 star service but can feel comfortable in a private environment, with flexible hours, offering snacks, refreshments and a vibrant atmosphere.

Business Owner

Genna is a licensed Cosmetologist who has spent the past 9 years focusing on Bridal Hair & Makeup styling and set work, though she has been beautifying people since the tender age of 13 (and even before then, giving her dolls makeovers!) Over the years she learned the pros and cons of being an employee and decided to go do business her own way. After doing hair for her friends and family out of her garage, and spending countless hours driving to and from people’s homes and hotels, Genna and her husband Michael realized that her business was growing rapidly and needed to go public. So, Beauty on the Block was born!
